oh it would be priceless if RL and co had a hand in sending the swiss our way. Cant see that being the case in a million years and would be terified if it was true and it left a door open for him but the 1st look on a few's faces would be pretty funny. lol

He probably spoke with all the interested parties. Or at least the ones that were more serious about going somewhere. -
I got a great idea. Things look to be going against what i thought they would and to make myself feel better im going to boycott all home games and slag off everyone that dont agree with me untill the club is almost ruined again. then when i am right ill score some points by making my self look like a di ck on an internet forum. Someone mentioned this on another thread and I know we have gone on probably more than enough about it but if the club and i mean the whole club are being bought for around 15 mil. Wiping the mortage debt and other debts then SLH wont have satisfied the 75% of creditors. If that happens then we could still be up for the extra -15 points at some point. Could still happen couldnt it? -

Lets see if 1 it actually does complete, 2 the new lot are any better than the old lot 3 the FL dont screw us any further sending us down to league 2 or something daft. After the past so many years of rubbish we have had to put up with it would hardly be suprising if there were yet more twists and turns. And just getting rid of Low and Co does not gaurentee our world will suddenly get better despite what a couple of posters on here think. Hope this is the start of some good times though and those that didnt want admin will no doubt at least support the club no matter what state its in -
I did type out a fairly lengthy responce but it thankfully got lost. lol If the funds are being transfered then I guess we will soon find out what they are buying. As I understood things though the 15 Mill (now supposed to be around 12.5 due to the sales) is for SFC. If Aviva are righting off that much of the debt then there will be no CVA for SLH and we could see another backtrack from the FL. Lets hope its not another false dawn and we can have a happier season.

Ah well if thats the case then its a fookin good deal. I cant see that much of the motage getting wiped though. I thought that the stadium will be bought at a minimal cost but the mortage would be taken on by the new owners. Maybe even restructured. either way the loan would not have been wiped. Ive not seen it mentioned anywhere that the whole shebang is being sold for 15 mil anyway which is why im confused. hopefully we will find out soon enough though. todays the day isnt it?
-
Are the buyers also buying the stadium part of the company in that 15mil though? I thought the 15mil value was just set along side SFC with the Stadium as a seperate entity. It would make sence for the buyers to get them both but I figured that would cost more?

+ 1 with bells on

If we had 1 owner that was willing to sell we could maybe have had a buyer long before going into admin. We didnt though, we had 3 owners who all thought they knew best and none wanted to be proved they didnt or let the others get any glory. Now we have the administrator acting like the 1 owner and even he is not finding it that easy. The toon as just going through the same as us but they are on the right side of Admin and doing the same things.
-
LOL cant argue with that. My only reason for being happy to give Wotte a chance this season is down to timing. The longer it takes to be taken over the more I would rather him be kept on to give the new owners a chance to put there rebuilding plans on the table. If they took over a month ago and went with Wotte I would be scratching my head in disbelief as surely a clean sweep is the best way forward.

still not biting

SFC is valued at around 15 mil but we only owe the bank around 4 mil dont we? Where does the 40 mil come from?
-
I cant be bothered to get into this argument again. Lowe is the anti christ and all that is bad in the world is a cunning plan that he has been dreaming up for 42 centurys. He will be back at the 1st chance he gets to really finish us off.
-
What is it with the fixation that everything remotly bad is all down to Lowe? They have all co cked things up royaly yet when there is a sniff of anything being the other parties fault it all turns into being something lowe cooked up with his chums. small minded spings to mind
-
I hope any new owners live up to the expectation or at least are better than any oof the previous lot. But I also hope they choose there managment team based on ability. Personally I see Wotte as no more than a stop gap as I dont think he has the ability to take us upwards as far as we want to go. Think its worth giving him a chance this season though.
-
I dont think SFC are at fault in any of this (unless the conspiresy theory can stretch as far as Leon asked the bank manager to stitch us then guide administration in a certain direction......joke) But if the league decide in all there wisdom to put a stop on proceedings until they know whats what and who is working for who and everything is above board our potential buyers may get bored and look elsewhere. Sesinble thing will be like you say, investigate the whole process onces things are done and dusted, giving us the best chance of being taken over and moving forward.
-
Bank manager pulls the plug to put us in admin and then joins the team creaming money out of us while we sink and you say so what? There may be absolutly nothing in this and its just a coincedence but the last thing we need now is for the FL to fanny about and ask questions which could drag things out even further. That in turn could jepordise any takeover so we could end up with nothing. Chances are it will get glossed over or sorted out and all will be fine but the club is at twitchy bum time so any bad press related to it would surly cause concern?
-
I cant see what Wotte has done so wrong given that our club is riddled with problems but I think its far fetched to think he will head us and make us look classy or european. I think he will do no more than OK this coming season which will see us safe but to move forward we will need someone new IMO. Id be happy for new owners to come in and familerise themselves with the club and take things at a steady pace and if that means keeping Wotte for 6 to 12 months then fine but I think a decission to give Wotte a 2 year contract would be bizare to say the least.
-
Jesus you got a hard head aint ya? Where have I said I wanted to stick with Wotte? I have just explained why I would understand if he stays on and that I will support him and the team with it. I dont expect him to get the job long term and think if he gets it short term he will have to achieve promotion this season to be in with a shout of staying longer. Something that aint going to happen is it? Rupes did well with his manager merry-go-round didnt he? I dont think sticking with a manager or going through loads is the deciding factor in success or failure but I think timing and choice is. We have been a signature away from being taken over before and got no-where so untill we see the headlines saying its a done deal we can assume that the situation is exactly what it is now. If they take over tomorrow and have someone lined up then brilliant. We have time to build and plan a new future and we can really challenge to beat the -10. If they give Wotte a chance then fair enough. He has had a few high profile jobs in his homeland and seems to be fairly well respected so his results dont match up with the respect he seems to have. I dont take the results from last season and pin the blame on Wotte and I dont think getting rid because Lowe brought him here is a good enough reason to not back him either. Given a more stable enviroment and some good preperations I think he can do a better job than he appeared to do last term. Especially in league 1. I base this on nothin more than my opinion which is worth jack. But Wotte out! if it makes you feel any better
