  1. Yeah I am actually thinking I would rather go arse in hand begging Wotte to come back than see Tony Adams get the job! A good coach but naff as the boss.
  2. Not sure if they take commission on the players as SFC wasnt in Administration. When Players were sold Fry released a statement to thank the board of SFC for selling players in order to pay staff wages. Sounded like he was still trying to keep SLH and SFC as seperate entities. I would be suprised if 500K was all they got though. Personally I think there should be a set price Administrators get for a set period of time. The quicker they sort it the more profit they make. The longer they take the more they have to stretch that money and the less profit they make. Administrators should get paid and I dont object to them being paid well but I dont like the idea that they could milk a company already in trouble by taking valuable time and money away from where its needed. I bet BT got money before wages at SFC didnt get paid for instance?
  3. All this comparing him to Pearson lark is old hat and both are now gone. It would be nice if we can just look forward now but if you lot are going to compare can you at least include Pearsons game in charge against Plym please? You might not like it but his CV will show he took charge of 14 games for the saints. At least Um put both stats down to show the differences. Actually Um, do you know what Wottes stats were after the 14 games? Im thinking Pearsons stats were still slightly better but it should give a fairer comparrison even though there were many more factors that could be taken in consideration.
  4. I cant understand how he would have made that assumption though. IMO they must have gave him some kind of indication of there plans for the coming season and that in turn must have led him to believe he was being kept in the loop because they wanted him to carry out those plans. So maybe indirectly he believed he was there for longer than a few hours? Agree with the speed that they told him though. He may feel like he was strung along to get through the worst bit but as soon as they could make a decision they did and didnt leave him hanging.
  5. As for him losing some money, In some ways he can blame no-one other than himself, He backed the Pinnacle bid which to be fair, fooled more than just Crouch but they took the 21 days exclusivity aways from our eventual owners. Had they had the 21 days they could have completed before the wages needed to be paid and there for saved Crouch the 21 day 500k and saved him the months wages if both of those are true. The chances are they were not donations anyway and he is now one of the creditors that the club owes so will get a good portion of that money back. If he has lost it then im not bothered either and dont give him special treatment. Only thing that should be said is while the other 2 skulked off he stuck around to deal with the problems he was a part of creating. The other 2 should have done the same IMO.
  6. Just because its fun pointing out whre your wrong He offered to pay or the re-do of Ted Bates Statue by way of loaning the club the money to get it done. The check was written and with the club but it was never cashed. I think it came out that it was a loan so the club just paid it themselves.
  7. Not fussed about Gore but I hope there is some role for Killer. He has worked a while unpaid and been more of a saint than many even though he hasnt been able to play.
  8. I know this was a while ago but just wanted to know, Is it the manager that takes a club into administration or the board? Good luck to Wotte. The new lot must have someone in mind as I wouldnt have thought they will do more than a week in the selection process to give the new guy a good shout at next season. Wonder if KD had any idea in this? Not that he should but sometimes players get frozen out by certain managers. He could have signed up knowing he will be number 1 and find out the next manager thinks he is pants and benches him.
  9. Well thre is plenty of time to now get in a new manager and build for the coming season. If the new owners decide to give him a go then they must be looking at the bigger picture and maybe there chosen target is not available yet. If he gets the shout then I think he will see us safe which wont be good enough for coming seasons if he doesnt then good luck to whoever does.
  10. + 1
  11. from what i remember he made a right royal tit of himself last time round but like others have said, if he has had a hand in getting us rescued then well done. hope this time things go better for us and in turn AO then great. The less I hear from the new board the happier I will be though. Dont want celebraties in there. Just people who can steer our club in the right direction.
  12. Unless the FL step in to question the abilities/motives of the former bank manager or BT I cant see how that article could disrupt things. My take on it is that its very easy to publish the anyone but Lowe stuff which the echo and various others do quite well. But anything that seems to side with Lowe must be something that has come directly from him and there cant be any truth in it at all. Someone writting for one of the bigger papers would surly be a bit more careful about what they claim as the effected parties would surely have more to lose when slated in a national rather than just a local. So maybe his piece carrys a bit more weight than just being rupes mouth piece?
  13. Its starting to look like this will stretch out another week or so doesnt it. whoopee for administration!
  14. i was wondering if anyone had signed up to the text thingy on the OS and how much sooner those people would find anything out?
  15. The weather girl that was in the build up in the flasher mac was smokin hot too. Anythin happened on the takeover front though?
  16. Mucho LOL'age
  17. Me and CB have disagreed on a fair bit recently but on this I 100% agree. The worse the team got the less support they were going to get. We played better away from home and there for often got better support. We could have played better at home with different tactics but that never happened until it was too late. It didnt get better after Lowe left either as gates were comparable.
  18. Just cause you cant see it your self it doesnt mean its not there. And we almost agree on Wotte. I would be fine about him being given a chance to prove himself for this season. But I would also understand if he was replaced. If the take over happens today and the new lot have someone new in mind then there is still plenty of time for a new guy to have the right impact. If the take over faulters and we are still waiting a week before the season starts with half a squad then give him till Xmas. Its not about who brought who in for me so I dont think he should get the boot for that reason, the same as I thought about Pearson and Lowe was a numpty for letting him go. If I let you know where I think you are wrong every time I would look like a stalker so I will carry on just skaking my head at the disbeleif of the worl you must live in sometimes
  19. I mentioned Master Bates and Great tits in the same sentance to my wife once. I had to show her a post of his for her to get what I was on about. lol
  20. yeah I understood it as 75% of the debt not of the creditors. I stand corrected and we shall hopefully find out whats been bought in the next 24 hours. Hopefully all of it with no debt but I wouldnt be suprised if the mortage still exists in some form for the new guys.
  21. Ah fair enough then. Based on that if the swiss pay 15 mil and get the lot then they have got a massive deal and I am gutted I didnt win the euro millions a lil while back. A few seasons of upwards progress and a turn in the economy and the swiss could make a killing on selling us on.
  22. Well im not here to fall out with people so I try not to insult. But I have given up pointing out where i think your wrong a long time ago lol
  23. I think thats sort of right. The scenarios as I see it are: Swiss buy SFC for 15 mil and rent the ground from AVIVA at an agreed rate. SLH still need to offload the stadium before they liquify so not sure how that would work but I suppose its a possability but the CVA would be up in the air. Swiss buy SFC and someone else buys the Stadium at over the 75% CVA requisit and all are happy but we are charged the rent that the stadium owners set. Could be costly in the long run but all would be happy. Swiss buy SFC for 15 mil and take on the mortage of the Stadium and therefor owning the stadium too. The 75% bit would be covered because the debt will no longer be with SLH and the Swiss would own it all. I guess there would be a charge on top of the 15 mil but very little as it would be more of a transfer of debt than a sale. Swiss buy SFC for 15 mil and also buy the Stadium for say 25 Mil (or what ever 75% of the debt is on the stadium) They own it all and SLH get the CVA which keeps us in the clear. Either way it happens I cant see the swiss just paying 15 Mil and getting the lot with no debt. As surly that would pave the way to futther points deductions with things as they stand. Maybe thats what Pinnacle were trying to do? Get the club for 15 mil then think they could get the stadium for pence?
  24. To be fair robbie I have ripped your posts to shreads on a number of occasions but you just move on and repeat the same old guff. lol It will be nice if we can all move forward supporting something that more of us agree on than the past so many years.
