  1. thinking im not going to go to work tomorrow. I usually like living in torquay. gona be getting some grieff tomorrow if i show my face and we get hammered. lol. think thats my last post of the night so gona have a few beers and comiserate/celebrate (delete applicable)
  2. I think NC (not 19C) mentioned how empty the trophy cabinet is and wants that to change. As the 1st opertunity to do something about that is this cup then I dont see why the club wont take it as seriously as others involved. Would be nice to win it and in a few years time look at that trophy cabinet and see the the JPT trophy as the 1st of a few. That said I can see us going out pretty early as our cup success against lower teams is usually kak. I have a few Torquizzle friends down here so would be nice to be on the right side of abuse tomorrow.
  3. lol thats my Facebook Status sorted for the rest of the day. )
  4. All of our thoughts are with you both.
  5. Took me a while to find out any info on todays match as there was nothing on the main pages of the OS but you can get all the details and a pretty up to date report of whats going on here http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/player/LiveMatches/
  6. Patto Perry Wotton Bart Papa Holmes Saga If we win today we will have beeaten poopy to 1 point! COYS

  9. After listening to that I just have one question. Is it Kalvin or Kelvin? Heard allot of what I wanted to hear and now just hope that whats on the pitch can slowly but surly follow on with what it seems we all from the top to the bottom of our club want. Very positive and looking forward to some good times.
  10. Thats never bothered us before lol
  11. maybe he is going to get more chances there to get a game which will ultimatly do him more good than sitting with us in the reserves. i doubt there are any CCC teams that will give him more opertunities than us and maybe its thought league 2 will do him more harm than good? if he gets some run outs and shows improvments it will do his case the world of good to come back here and earn a place. if he cant cut it at this level with the dons then he will have no chance with us so will be shipped out i guess?
  12. LOL classic
  13. Like I said, you was there so your report holds more weight than the OS who report this http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ReservesNews/0,,10280~1798360,00.html Saints Res: Forecast, Argent, Lancashire, Jaidi (Preen 75), Tafazolli*, Pulis, Gillett, Mellis, Holmes, N'diaye, Paterson. Subs (not used): Dovey, McNish, White.*Replaced Molyneux in the warm up. Im guessing they got the match report passed via word of mouth.
  14. good report although acording to the OS there was only one sub. Preen came on for jaidi and White remained un-used. Now as its likly there was no-one there from the OS as there wasnt an opertunity to sell sessions in there physio room Oxfordshire Saints report is probably more acurate lol
  15. arse. im refurbing my house this weekend and no tinternet ffs
  16. I think what Alan was trying to point out was that Saints doing well would also mean Rupes doing well. Rupes ideas on what was good for saints can be argued as for what ever reason they failed. To be honest I think much of the stratagy that Rupes tried to employ is still being done today. Work within our means and build from within. We needed the cash injection to get us onto the level we dropped off of but once we are there I dont think ML will be spunking millions and millions on us for fun. The biggest difference I think is there is the choices that are made are different. Rupes plan was IMO a valid one but is choices to apply that plan was where he went seriously wrong. If ML has a similar plan but chooses the right people to make it a success then brilliant. So far he seems to have made the right moves and long may it continue.
  17. seems like most so far see the team pretty much the same with lallana and spiderman the only difference. I think Spiderman would do better from the start making way for Lalanna to be the impact sub later on. Do we know how good Papa is on the wing? I know he is meant to be quick so that should help but it wont help if he always wants to cut inside. We need some speed on the right that stays on the right and crosses some balls into the box. Think we have a team that could have a goal frenzy should that happen.
  18. Im here too but down to 3 posts a day so was planing to save them for the 2 goals we were going to score and the final whistle 3 points. looking like f all chance of that now so just 2 posts left. lol
  19. Lowe wanted a DOF too. It was his choice to fill the position that was the problem. lol
  20. I seem to remember JP being pleased with all the signings he was presented too.
  21. So whos idea was it to get Papa? If Pards aint met him why is he looking to play him? Surly it cant be another Ali Dia moment? Im hoping the info you have got Nick is more like chinese whispers and in reality pards knows all about Papa and was the man behind getting him here.
  22. I actually belly laughed in the office then lol
  23. So if Saga does drop down a league does anyone think his goal scoring will improve? I know he worked his socks off for us most of the time but he has hardly been prolific since we had him on loan. I dont even think dropping a league will help him out either. The goal never moved when he was on the pitch and they dont move in league 2 so unless he can start putting his shots on target it wont matter if its league 2 defence or international defence in the way. Pards mentioned a couple players to come in if he can which I think we guess as Jhadi and possibly a winger. If saga goes will he then be looking for an extra striker or go with Paterson and Lambert with Kayne Mclaggon and jamie White to help out when back from injury?
  24. FFS why we talking about Lowe? Yes we should be doing better and to be fair the team prob needs a rocket up its arse to make sure the performance gets the rewards its deserves. from what ive read it sounds like we should have won comfortably which is much better than how we played against milwall. Things are improving and yes we probably need 1 or 2 more players to really make a difference but i think we are a long way off needing to slate those at the top who have bought the club with a plan to get us back up the leagues. throwing money at it now would be madness IMO
