Not having a knock at you and other webdesigners as I know from experience that any website i make ends up looking like a box of broken biscuits rather than something people can find info on. But surely once the hard work of getting the website up and running is done then the updating of it is fairly simple by comparrison? So I dont get why they feel they need to change things as even if they are looking to do things cheaper they only need to have people to maintain the site and update it occasionally. Its not like they need to pay mega bucks to create the site every day is it?
-
They would have to go a pretty long way back to find one of them worth putting up so probably figured its best to stick with the last game. I dont really see why they are bothering to change it though. the problem with the current site is not that it looks bad, its the fact that hardly any decent info goes on it. the rule to only publish facts and speak nothing of rumour coupled with a bunch of ****s that dont want to tell us anything leaves the poor old web editors twiddling there thumbs for a majority of there working week. They have probably come up with a re-launch as a way to make them selves look busy while the club look to offload anyone that doesnt have much to do.

I think your avetar is mint and my 5 year old boy finds it hilarious. i liked the last one too and chuckled to myself pretty much everytime i saw it lol.

As a fan I and I doubt any others can fault him. Im not his biggest fan but point scoring or not some of his gestures and actions have helped us out several times. Would be nice to remember him in years to come for the good things rather than remembering him being mixed up with the other donkeys.
-
I would have put Darren Wheeler as one of the mitchel brothers or maybe minty personally EDIT: I cant believe I just commented on a bloody Eastender theme and knew some of the bloody names! I feel ashamed!
-
I would want to be played by Brian Blessed and want to make sure he says..... "GORDON'S ALIIIIIIIIIVE?"
-
Tevez? Jagielka? Unlikly it was one of our players cause we might not have a club next week to sign for
-
I was about to ask everyone to get back to arguing about ex chairmen cause im confused to hell! lol
-
so did anyone else see it on SSN? I think I would rather have GS than anyone else thats been mentioned so far.
-
I dont. I think he is the only player that really stood out for us last seaason. who else is there? Surman? A Saint but could probably do with the cash we would get for him. Lallana? Would probably do better elsewhere but dont feel he is going anywhere with us so the money would be a bigger benifit to us. McGoldrick? Our top scorer I think but should have been given an award for the most wasted chances. BWP? A name but the guy is in love with being offside so never really lived up to his name. Wooton I suppose might be better suited to League 1 but I am not so sure Perry will be, Hatch and Gillett are not world beaters. Mule and Saga would be 90% of our wage limit. I cant actually think of any of them I would bust a nut to try and keep other than KD?

Different thread...... Same Shiite

LOL Brilliant!

Kin'ell this place has turned into the usual old war of words about matters that have been and gone again! Facts are they all made mistakes, some more than others but all shoulder some blame for the mess we are in. Facts now is Crouch is the only one who has stuck around trying to keep us afloat till we are bought. Doesnt matter if its a loan or gift or whatever. Without it we would be even more screwed! I wish someone would grab Lowe and Wilde by the balls and make them come and shoulder there portion of the club! Can we stop arguing about Lowe and Crouch now please?
-
Dont think FC was trying to have a dig at Crouch. And doubt there will be many others that will have a pop at him either cause he is the only one of the 3 that is doing something positive for our club. But I understand where FC is coming from in that all we heard was Crouch is paying the wages. The majority of people jump up and say how fantastic that is and carry on with there daily stuff. We have been told before that Crouch is ready to put his hand in his pocket and its been spouted about like he is ready to throw his money at saints and all things red and white are great. its turned out in the past that he has offered loans or only offered money if the others bend over and take one for the team or various other conditions. I got no problem with the conditions but our usual perception of his actions are usually happy clappy because he is a fan. If Lowe ever did anything it was scrutanised by 90% of the fan base, suggested there was an another motive, not believed and certainly not applauded. Im not suggested Lowe did anything to applaud but just think that there are different treatments for each of the main 3. Say for instance this story about Crouch paying the wages had Lowes or Wildes name in there instead of Crouch. would this thread have as many people blindly thanking him and suggesting he had place in saints history forever more for being a true fan? I say again though. Hats off to Crouch because no matter what conditions there may or may not be, he seems to be the only one of the 3 that are interested in keeping SFC afloat.

fair enough but all he had to do was to talk to the MJ group throughout and make it known he was discussing things with more than 1 party until he has a perferred bidder. Each bid would have been aware that there was another and therefor may have got there fingers out. As it is Fry has been speaking to 1 bidder while knowing there is another that wants to talk. Pinnicle knew this and also knew that fry wasnt speaking to anyone else. Its like Pinnicle got the exclusive preferred bidder status without getting to the next stage and now Fry has to back track to try and get them to hurry up.
-
I find it amazing that Fry has just been dealing with 1 group all this time. I thought the 30 were wittled down to just 2 or 3? Surly until a perferred bidder is decided then all groups should get equal treatment? Its no wonder that the deadline keeps getting moved as Fry hasnt got any other options either because the others wernt good enough (if so why was the 30 knocked down to 2 or 3?) or he hasnt kept the other partys in the loop. Hats off to Crouch and he will get much more respect than any of the others if its true about him paying the wages. I think the other main partys should be dragged out of there dark corners by there balls and made to share the load of keeping the club afloat for the time being. I will always remember the main 3 for screwing the club up in various ways but I will also remember Crouch for keeping the club going in its darkest time.

its never going to be easy comparing 1 season to the next. had the FL not stuck -10 on us just before a crucial game we might well have had the fight in us to get the points we needed and gone on to get enough points to stay up. Wotte took on a team that was in really bad trouble at the bottom and pearson took on a team that was mid table and needed guidence. Wotte was hear already so knew the set up. pearson had better players at his disposal. Pearson didnt exactly keep us up. Other teams losing kept us up. hands down I would prefer Pearson but its not fair to compare the 2 on what they both had to do.
-
funny that considering it was other results that kept us up lol. had we kept him I think we could have been safe this season but the gates would still have been rubbish because we wouldnt have been fighting for much and there would still have been a good chance that admin would have come knocking this season. I doubt pearson was booted for financial reasons but if he was then admin could well have come sooner just as much as pearson doing fantasticlly and we get full houses as we push for promotion. I would guess the former was more likly though.
-
cause we owed too much (crouch/wilde) cause they lost faith in us bringing in enough income because we werent getting the fans through the gates (fans) because the football was crap (team/management) because we failed yet again to keep hold of a half decent manager (lowe) and replaced him with someone who only had 1 plan (JP/lowe) Thing is we had Wilde and Crouch and the execs on the back of what the fans wanted. Gates were low due to what the fans didnt want Got shot of better players to fit in with our income which was less with the more fans that didnt want to go and finally went into admin as there wasnt enough coming in from the fans to service what was going out. Although I blame the many decissions for our problems I have to admit that we have had a fairly big role in everything that has happened. Still hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel to know it was all worth it.

Nothing stopping SMS being bought and turned into a Rugby pitch or athletics track for 2012 or another shopping mall or concert venue. I would have thought there would be a few things that it could easily be converted into. It just so happens that its best suited as a football stadium right now.
-
But if a Dog was in such a state it would be put down to save it from pain.
-
So the stay aways that hoped we would go into admin without there cash had nothing to do with it? I know there wasnt many of the stay aways that actually thought like that before anyone gets all upity at me lol
-
Huh? What you on about? I didnt say I wanted him back or say that I knew he was even trying. I just said that if it was a choice between absolutly nothing at all or having Lowe back I would take Lowe. I hope and dont think it will come to that kind of decission and I actually think that if these 3 bidders are unsuccesful then the club will be wound up. I doubt very much that Rupes will come riding in to have another go and risk being lynched. But just to coment on one of your points. How many clubs have gone 12 / 14 years with no investment and yet built a new stadium, reached the FA Cup Final, reached there highest league position in god knows how many years and got into Europe? I know we were massivly lacking investment and the main reason for that in obviously yours but also my opinion was Rupes. But to go that long and hold our own for some of it is not such a bad thing. It ended in failure and good riddence to him for that but the chopping and changing there after did not have the effect that was intended.

I still think that there is a very slim chance that it will come to that and there is still a high chance that we will see new owners but there is still a possability we could go down the drain. I cant see how anyone can be happy about that
