  1. No idea now lol HTH
  2. Blimey Reading know how to have a clear out dont they! if only we had a board in the past that did the same
  3. im sure there have been more "Fridays" than that. did we only dare to dream to talk about managers that many of them?
  4. im sure i have seen that said a few times too lol
  5. no worries and i wasnt having a dig. im sure if someone else had posted it you would have felt the same way as the rest of us lol
  6. I wont vouch for all of them but it seems MB just passes on snippets he gets as they come to him and he has often been right ahead of announcments. Its usually stuff that happens the same day unlike some previous ITK wannabee's who claim dates times and amounts. Im happy to take MB's info and trust there is a good chance of it coming off most of the time. The rest of it when posted as rumour or backed up with places its been lifted from is OK too. Stuff that gets lifted and printed on here as if its fact or ITK hacks me off though. The comment from 606 is a prime example. while mildly interesting it would have not had the same ammount of brown trousers had 606 been mentioned in the 1st place.
  7. I was thinking Hope This Helps myself. Never thought of the Happy one?
  8. If your using IE double click on the little blue e top left corner for performance options.
  9. You know I am in process of convincing my other half to let me paint the saints kit on her for my avetar. I havent actually asked her yet but im planning to lol
  10. I think there should be a rule to state that the source is from 606 when it is!
  11. If the only thing that is likly to go through is the sale of the stadium then I would have thought this announcment (if its official) would then put the buyers of the stadium off as there main source of income (SFC) will be no more. Why buy a football stadium that has no team to play there? Are Eastliegh looking to move grounds?
  12. Not really because owning the stadium brings much higher costs where as a deal could be made to rent the stadium at a fraction of the cost it would take to own it. Specially if the council buy the stadium. It is in there interest to give us a reasonable price which keeps the city of southampton in football which in turn brings in a fair amount of business and feel good factor when the team is doing well. Anyone else that buys the stadium would be fools if they priced out the most regular income they have. SMS is not going to fill out with concerts every week so its again in there interest to strike a good deal with SFC for the use of the stadium.
  13. well thats not helped my sqeeky bum!
  14. My question a while back was if the football club cant pay the wages then could they go into admin seeing as they are not at the moment? If so who gets the -10 point penalty and when? Cant be punished 2ice for the same thing and as the FL decided to punish us for it already we could concievably go into admin with no punishment????
  15. Surly that would have been the case as soon as SLH went into admin? I mean from that point on there are no shares to be bought, just creditors to be paid off, so Seymour Butts is a bit late of the starting block me thinks. No wonder they didnt help us get investment if they are that slow to react!
  16. Only if the buyer is that Torronto based business as it could mean we will be seeing Ice Hockey next season at SMS instead of footy!
  17. Only because I didnt win the Euro Millions of course!
  18. If it was ok to slag off the previous tenants then it should be ok for the next lot
  19. If she is the blonde bird that was sat next to him in the picture thats on a thread on here the other week... He's fookin Right!
  20. LOL here we go. You have gone and rattled his cage now. To be fair GM doesnt have any faith in the people that are supposedly trying to bid or be part of bid for our club. Thats his opinion and he is as welcome to it as anyone else. I dont have much faith in a bid that has Marc Jackson envolved and I doubt there will be many that will defend him. I dont know Lynam so my lack of faith is purly down to recent history of our club seems to be going downhill and I dont have much faith things will change soon. I have heard Stuart greens name mentioned a few more times but for the life of me I dont know if its been said in a good or bad light so again I have no reason to raise my hopes. If any of these people are going to be put off by what us lot have to say on here then they are probably best advised to go and buy a knitting shop rather than a football club.
  21. Sounds to me like its being strung out and now Fry is trying to push for conclusion. Maybe he wont budge anymore and the threat to bin Pinacle is his way of getting what he wants? I doubt anyone knows how serious he is with this statement but it seems to me that there are not many people in the market to buy a football club so the ones that are interested probably have some reservations in that the whole thing could be a massive waste of money that they could do without. What if they decide to not bow down to Fry's public outburst and back off? If they are supposedly the prefered bidder I would guess that they are a better option than the others so Fry could put us in a worse position?
  22. didnt they get the boot when the administrators came in? oh hang on i see your point. Who is it thats on the football board at the mo?
  23. Im an IT administrator and I dont get that kind of wedge! Think I am in the wrong job!
  24. I think all we knew at the time was he made this 2mil offer and it was seen as a good thing from the fans and it made the others look bad for not dipping into their own pockets. I think if we saw what was actually being offered not as many would have seen it in the same light so for that reason I think it was more of a PR stunt than anything to be taken seriously. still think they are all idiots that have had there part in screwing the club over. some more than others but none can be excused IMO
