Thats ludicrous. Reed was put in charge of Football development and recruitment in April 2010. He would've been sacked by Cortese if he wasn't particularly good in that role. No one lasts for 4 years by winging it.

My Brother in Law is a Celtic Supporter, he's been saying all season that Van Dijk is the player that is simply too good for them to keep hold of at the wages they pay.
