  1. The epitome of be careful what you wish for. Weeping for millionaires though. Would have him back in January, but he's 'very man utd' in terms of his persona, reckon he'll end up at Everton.

  3. Eddie Howe.
  4. Redmond does need to stop the whining, nothing on there in terms of a pass when Hoj took the shot!
  5. West Ham bloody awful, Villaesque! But we should be out of sight here, at least 3-0, perhaps 5 on a good day!
  6. Been awful all afternoon. We deserve to win this.
  7. Good shout. Would take balls from Fatso and FA, so won't happen.
  8. Good to see them struggling after the stadium debacle, and I think they may have overstretched and overachieved. You just know the Porn Barons will press the button on Bilic if the losing streak continues, and then we may have a Villa scenario on our hands. Agree that seeing the diamond against lesser opposition will be interesting, and hope we pass the sh*t out of them!
  9. I like Enskied. In terms of the vast majority of Liverpool supporters a rare grounded good egg, very much an Albert Speer!
  10. Lallana.
  11. The Toffees push for the Champions League is on! Itsh all about the ambishion...
  12. A thing of beauty!...
  13. Spot on!
  14. We should go for Andre Villas Boas.
  15. Ralph Krueger isn't even the most interesting man in the hotel he's staying in at the moment. Even if it's an air B&B.
  16. Nice to win against Sparta, but flattered to deceive, and Swansea have much better players. Hoping for a 1-0 but predicting 1-1 today, which should see us out of the bottom three as long as Palace beat Stoke.
  17. I've lost interest in losing interest!
  18. Have they got a statue of big Ron Atkinson, gold plated of course.
  19. The 'old dinosaur' was right about Austin's fitness and positioning, though.
  20. Seven times in the past ten seasons. Moyes was very consistent to give him credit!
  21. To be honest when considering the current obscene amount of cash sloshing around the Premier League, gambling 'aint what it used to be when the likes of Leeds and Pompey thought they were playing the market whilst playing Russian Roulette.
  22. Probably Alpen, though she looks like a Frosties girl.

    Puel

To be frank, I think that even if we are in the relegation spots at Christmas Krueger and Reed may attempt to 'tough it out' as sacking Puel will be an admission of mistake, and they are used to getting plaudits, not brickbats - at least it may see the end of this 'Southampton way' PR and 'blackbox' nonsense. For me, the most telling thing at the moment is not the formation or indeed the results, it's the players' body language and the bickering on the park. We were told (or perhaps spun) that Koeman had 'lost the dressing room' at one point last season, but I rarely recall his sides propelled by what looks like frustration, heads dropping, and senior players arguing with one another. Despite the sales, we still have some very good players, but are lacking drive and spark - Mane, Wanyama, and Pelle on their day, had that and as the weeks go by with Boufal sitting in the stands the pressure increases on him to be a saviour, not just a good player, more pressure. Our signings all look to have decent potential, but how many would have been automatic choices in last year's side or the year before that, per se? Puel may yet come good, and I hope he does. I am sure that he is a decent man trying his best, but today's English top flight is unique and unforgiving, requiring character and credibility as well as nous. I think the ten games point you mention is the point where we will be able to see with reasonably clarity where we might be headed with Puel and the players - expect activity and PR drive if that trajectory is upwards, and inactivity and stonewall silence, if it's downwards. Never a dull moment...
  24. Quiet, isn't it? Not much positive spin around at the moment.
  25. I think in reality there is about as much chance of that as Cortese teaming up with Dalian Atkinson.
