Peretz outstanding and Azaz and Downes very good last night in a muted performance - likely due to pressure of occasion and physical assault from Norwich from first whistle. Mention in dispatches for Matsuki who threw himself at everything and battered, and Larin who once again played a proper big CF part. Proved we can win ugly under pressure, and this is totally in our hands now.

You could see exactly how it was going to go from the stands. I really like Peretz so far, his communication and bravery appear to be his strong suits and clearly one of the reasons we have turned a corner. When my pal tipped me off that we were interested I thought it sounded like we were getting a version of Boruc, not sure Peretz is at that level but clearly athletic and a committed character. Watching him play over 90 minutes he kind of reminds me of an upgrade version of Kelvin Davis, and I mean that as a compliment.
