We have a team chock full of bang average players getting very large pay packets for these league - some picking up circa £40-50k a week - well over £2m a year apiece. If it was ever going to get better under Sport Republic Solak would have made decisive strategic decisions in May 2023 after the first relegation debacle. Removing Kraft and Ankersen from the club and appointing proper advisors and staff, most importantly a credible football manager to cull and rebuild the squad. Instead its been a drain circling pattern of negligence, insincere apology, and timid failure. The main architects of this are Solak and Ankerson who act like a pantomime oligarch and his indulged idiot son. It beggars belief that the owner is still listening to this fucking cretin, who was sussed out as a charlatan by the supporters weeks after the takeover by a simple fucking google search. I can’t see any viable route to redemption for Sport Republic from here, last throw of dice was the replacement of Still with a football manager and a surgical January window -we are getting neither!
