That would then instigate a rather substantial legal case, which Saints would win nine times out of ten, as the experts at South Square will be telling their EFL contacts.
-
Indeed. Hope we beat them 4-0 tonight to make their ongoing relationship with the mighty Boro even more special.
-
Exactly this. Saints are acting professionally and observing the protocols of their governing body.

Gibbos are highly volatile and easy to devalue. Mark Bitcoin has confirmed this
-
Who knows? I think his peak was close to £2bn, but I'd wager he is still worth two Gibbos.
-
Also, lots of hilarity from the Boro brain damage about Gibbo, the £600m man of the people, not letting this lie and being able to afford the best legal representation. This, whilst not realising that our Serbian Chairman is worth £1.5 billion. I think that they are going to be disappointed.
-
What they have been doing over the past week is attempting to cheat and gain unfair advantage, perhaps Saints can suggest this to the EFL.
-
Assuming Saints get fined £200,000 and this goes to Middlesbrough, Gibbo will be able to personally give every one of their 19k season ticket holders £10 each. This could happen on the centre circle or dole office. Win, win.
-
A good response to these hacks would be 'and under what legal power will the mobile phones, computers and bank statements be seized?' and 'what offence is to be investigated by the police?' - The Gibbo Delusion Act 2025? Fuck me, enough material for an entire conference...
-
You can feel the pure idiotic desperation...
-
Yep, but the 'rule' has no legal weight whatsoever. The scrutiny of a court will make this clear. If Saints agree to pay a fine to the EFL it's to be compliant, a courtesy to their professional body, nothing more. If the club suffers genuine financial loss or the reputational damage is serious, they will likely have Middlesbrough and the EFL on toast, and rightly so.
-
Very good point.
-
They are a club a decade out of the top flight who bottled their best chance weeks ago, and are now shitting themselves and trying to stir the shit to gain minor advantage. That's what most of the neutrals see.
-
In terms of Saints contesting the nuclear option, the clubs reasonable response would be swift and highly public litigation which I strongly feel SFC would likely win (with damages, restitution, and costs). The EFL, and their advisors (at South Square) are not stupid enough to risk opening that multimillion pound can of worms in my view.
-
This is the way...
-
Hopefully he will go on strike.
-
Is Gibbo piloting it?
-
As I said last week, no animosity towards Boro before this bollocks started, and genuinely boot on the other foot I wouldn't have given a shit. However, the level of fantasy of their dinlo supporters aided and abetted by what passes for the media had reached Lord of the Rings set in Chernobyl levels. Fuck them and all who sail in them henceforth!

I bet she's low maintenance and a lot of fun! Fair play to Razor, always up for a physical challenge.
-
Indeed and / or have a little tete a tete beforehand with a NDA agreed upon. What most of the Boro numpties don’t realise is the EFL committee has no legal power or remit, but Saints actions in resolution do.
-
The idiotic speculation by the media and Middlesbrough officials bandying around terms like ‘guilt’ have helped Saints immeasurably both in terms of the hearing and, in particular, any resultant legal action. Not the sharpest tools in the box. Meanwhile SFC seem to have played this exactly right thus far, respecting due process. We will likely be fined, depending on strength of connection to the mystery man. For once, with Saints, I believe we should trust the process.

Back him to deliver Tuesday night at some point.

Tonda completely outwitting the Sky TV dipshit interviewer in his post match. It’s like being managed by a young Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Love it!

At the end of the game that felt a lot like the WBA play off semi at the Hawthorns under Rylan. Reckon a similar fate awaits the Teeside tossers on Tuesday.
