Don't let logic and reason get in the way of a good meltdown.

Saints Kits Season 2024/25 - Page 24 NSFW
SaintNewForest replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Why do we always end our kit contracts early? Umbro. Adidas. Under Armour. Hummel All contracts ended early, and a new one bought in with much fanfare... only for the same thing to happen again. -
Nah, a couple of Saints fans were booted out for trying to create an atmosphere by banging the advertising boards.
-
Those misses by Adams were shocking. We had a striker who we can rely on, we'd have won that easily. Hey ho, off to Wembley we hopefully go.
-
Sulemana is so fucking frustrating as a player.

Dynel Simeu has confirmed to the Echo that he'll be leaving at the end of his contract in the summer. -

Did you see the team that lost 9-0 to Utd? Starting Jankewitz (who, last I checked couldn't get into a team in the Swiss 2nd division) and Ramsay (a league 1 standard player), down to 10 men within 30 seconds and 9 men for the last 3/4 goals. A squad ravaged so much we had 2 keepers on the bench and the remaining 7 players with a couple of PL appearances between them all. Plus 2 CBs most would agree are now playing at their level Yeah the first 9-0 was a horror show, but that 2nd one, you can't blame on Ralph. Thats just bias. Like most others here, I wish him well and I do believe he should've gone at the summer before. We broke him, and he looked a defeated man at the end. We'd have gone down a long while beforehand without his passion and efforts. Good to see him back in the game looking healthy and refreshed. -
He might benefit from starts. But he has to earn them. Have some game-changing appearances off the bench etc. At the moment, he's not deserving of starting over the names you've mentioned. I'd even have Edozie starting over him right now.

Shoehorning Steohens into the side ... we looked wobbly before he came back in. Bree isn't fully fit. Kwp is injured. Who would you pick instead? But again, blaming Stephens being shoehorned in is the popular opinion right now. Aside from that, a wins a win. I'm not fussed how we get it. UTFS.
-
Except the defence was looking wobbly before Stephens came back into the side so not sure what your point is ... but get that he's the fall guy online.
-
Because Preston have to agree to it. They haven't. And then it's international break, where I think we'll likely lose the likes of Adams & Bednarek.
-
Its true, but I think thats instigated by Leicester. We're usually pretty good at refunds for rearranged games.
-
Next week might be too quick a turnaround, logistically though. Would need to be announced today/tomorrow realistically.
-
He had a poor 1st half of the season (bar August when the transfer window was open). Perhaps he had a niggling injury, or his head wasn't in it. Whatever. But he's looked really good since Xmas time, and absolutely in my first choice XI right now.

£14.5m on changing the managers twice. Sheeesh.

Gets the ball. Does something good with it. Loses it or fucks it up. Rinse and repeat.

What's the point in us turning up with that team? -

Didn't you know he discovered hidden gems such as Sadio Mane & Virigl Van Dijk? Plucked them from obscurity and turned them into superstars. Sarcasm mode off. -
Didn't do our back-to-back promotion seasons much harm, or finishing in 8th / 7th / 6th in the PL.
-
Comical. You know Stephens has been back in the squad since mid-November yeah? And was part of the XI who beat West Brom away (our only win and clean sheet recently), whilst playing no part in our recent defeats and leaky defence (before today) ... Talk about scapegoating. But then that's what I've come to expect from Saints fans.
-
Have we actually got a plan B? Or is our plan B just keep doing plan A until it works? So damn frustrating.
-
He's been shite for the past year. Why sound surprised?
-
Long way to go, but feel the play-offs is looking the increasingly most likely option. Day at Wembley would be nice 🤣

1 game, 1 game undefeated, 1 game, 1 game I say
