Wembley Tickets - extra tickets also SOLD OUT
SaintNewForest replied to Harry_SFC's topic in The Saints
I bloody hope not. 35k allocation, 22k allocation for STs. Being generous; I don't think we have 13k members so I think it'll be okay. And that's assuming all ST holders go. I'm in the 12:30 window so terrified they'll be gone by then. -

Not all blocks are on sale yet. They're releasing more as they sell through. We don't have 35k season ticket holder's 🤣 -

Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather have a physical ticket to be honest. I keep tickets from all the grounds I've been to; it'll be a sad day when digital tickets become the norm. -
Southampton 1-0 Leeds - Saints are Promoted!!

The journey will be better than the destination. We all want to win for the spectacle, and the occasion and then it'll be a bit ... meh, PL again. -

Such a dick move from the club though. -

As long as it gets to Monday 12:30, I don't care ... I'd be a bit peeved though if members (who haven't been to abgame) get priority over non-members who've been to 15 (like myself) and it sells out then -
Not the first time he's lied when leaving a club, I suppose ...
-
I have no idea who these people are to be honest, but we do seem to burn through staff since SR have walked through the door.
-
And yet, in the replay at home, he was outstanding. Set up one of our goals with an incredible run from the right corner flag if I remember rightly?

Sekou Mara - Official: Signs for Strasbourg
SaintNewForest replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Said it in another thread, but I'd have sooner have kept Ballard in the summer & sent Mara to Reading. Would have had more of an impact I feel. -
Completely agree. Plus we lost Doyle to Brighton, and sent Ballard out on loan. Seeing as Ballard is the natural striker, he must be sitting at home recovering, watching Mara and wonder why Mara was kept on over himself last summer. I'd have sent Mara to Reading, to be honest, and we'd have had more return from Ballard. You could also argue the likes of Dibling & SAA would have had more impact this season than Sulemana as well.
-
Not what I heard at all. He agreed a pre-contract with us in the summer before he turned 17. SAA & Meghoma rocked up on bigger salaries later that window and he wanted parity with them. We wouldn't offer that.
-
What makes me laugh about the Echo, is they put a transcript of the press conference (which is freely available elsewhere) behind their Paywall. There's ways around that though, if you know where to look
-
Agreed. Although I don't get the clubs inconsistent logic here as both SAA and Meghoma are supposedly on similar amounts (hence why Morgan asked it in the first place!) ... supposedly.
-
If we start Mara in any of the next 2/3 games, then Martin should be sacked on the spot.
-
Maybe you could say where you've read it, to give it either an ounce of credibility or file under bin?
-
Hope they don't clatter us with one eye on a play off final 🤣
-
Hi Kamaldeen; how's Leeds on a Friday evening?
-
Obviously, we've got to get there first. But I do wonder how they'll do Wembley tickets, would attending this play off game give you greater priority, potentially? I feel like we've done similar before on a trip to Wembley.
-
When do we start the Sport Republic out movement? Absolute clowns.
-
I've been to 11 homes and 4 aways this season, despite not being a ST holder or member. Should be some priority based on matches attended more than anything, surely?
-
Stephens did a cracking job at LB against West Brom away (one of our best defensive performances of the season). Of course, I'd rather play Manning as a natural LB, but if he's not fit enough, it would be another option.
-
From management?
-
He's shite and has a stinking attitude to match. There's clearly a reason he isn't fancied.

Mentioned this yesterday in another thread, but seems sensible to mention it again: I've been thinking about Calderwood. You're right, when he originally came in we looked really good defensively. At the time, we also had a set piece coach (Andreas Georgison?) He left in mid-January, I think, and Calderwood took on his responsibilities as well. I just wonder if, defensively, there isn't the focus in training that there was previously as the dedicated coach is now taking on extra responsibilities in...
