  1. Another reason to dislike the whole PL product ... ๐ŸšจThe PL are set to introduce the following rules next season: ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ HT interview with player or coach. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Interviews for players who are subbed off. ๐ŸŽฅ Dressing room broadcasts. โœ… Clubs have to choose one of the three options listed above, every week. #SaintsFC @SamC_reports https://x.com/JustSaints_/status/1844787832096805334?t=cl2N-F9m2i94K_Si0etiNg&s=19
  2. I agree with you, but insists on playing his favourites? Really? Mannings been out the team all season. Adam Armstrong's been dropped. Aribo has been dropped. KWP has been dropped. Downes hasn't done anything deserving to be dropped. Nathan Wood doesn't even make the matchday squad. Who are his favourites that you speak of? Because from where I'm stood, that's clearly not true.
  3. Went on general sale a day early still at ST prices. Few tickets bought at the cheaper rate, happy days.
  4. It's not just Saints though. It's the whole PL "product" and culture I find so dull and uninspiring. Honestly, I follow what's going on in the football league more than I do the PL.
  5. And yet we were still surviving, so I'd argue we were doing OK. SR ruined it all and down the drain we went.
  6. Smallbones injured, but yeah ...
  7. Premier League is awful. It's beyond shite for so many reasons. Promotion was great, but I had 0 feelings of excitement for this season compared to last season (and next!) Championship is, for me, the best league in the world.
  8. Derby County, we're coming for you.
  9. 5 strikers on the bench and one defender is an interesting move.
  10. My post was made before his loan move was made, by the way. At the time of posting, he hadn't been given a chance in their 1st team in preseason.
  11. Working in bournemouth, I speak to a lot of Bournemouth fans. They all loved him, couldn't believe we loaned him out whilst we were struggling.
  12. My point is, regardless of formation, we'll still be pissing around with it at the back & we'll still be toothless in attack. Our style of play (which is the main issue) will still remain
  13. What, like we did for United?
  14. Moving the away fans has been a real killer for the clubs atmosphere, I think. The Northam/Itchen/Away fans banter was the only thing keeping the atmosphere going at times, and now that's gone, you're left with a stand full of people who don't really know what to do. The club have wanted that gone for years to aid their hospitality packages, and used safe standing as a way to cleanse that area of the stadium to improve their hospitality packages. Can't wait for the champagne bar, proper football heritage that.
  15. Still on course to beat Derbys record then, that's something to sing about.
  16. Didn't you know? It's Stephens fault that he gets picked. It's Stephens fault that our attack are toothless. It's Stephens fault we play the way we do. It's Stephens fault Archer missed a penalty. Etc etc.
  17. Except it didn't though, did it? He were trounced 5-0 by Sunderland, and 4-0 be Leicester before losing to Ipswich and Middlesbrough in the first 4 games of his injury ...
  18. "stephens is the root of all our problems" Your words, not mine.
  19. To say he is the "root of our problems" is just ignorance, plain and simple. We have a lot of problems right now, not all of them the fault of Jack Stephens. Fine, if you don't rate him, we all have our opinions on players, don't have a problem with that; but hating on him unnecessarily by saying he's the root of all our problems is just scapegoating a player for no reason. Is he the reason why we can't score, or why our strikers are so toothless? Is he the reason Martin plays the way he does? Is he the reason our midfield has been weak as piss?
  20. And people say that there isn't a narrative against Stephens? What bollocks.
  21. Fucking club, letting all these non-saints fans into the ground. Probably sat in the home end as well ...
  22. How to tell me you don't watch football ...
  23. Certainly not saying JS is the long-term answer at CB at this level, but if you had to pick a CB to take out of the team based on the 3 games so far this season, it wouldn't be JS.
  24. Good to see the narrative about JS carrying on; I'd argue that THB is more deserving to be dropped so far as he's been our worst CB, to be honest but that doesn't suit the narrative that saints fans seem to have.
  25. Seeing as one of the main reasons he went to Blackpool was Neil Critchley, it's a bit of a blow.
