  1. I understand Klopp is inciting thousands of scousers to "take back their stolen Premier League" and march on football headquaters after claiming he has. in fact. won the last 3 games. "If you only count the valid goals it was a landslide" he claims. His captain Jordan 'hard man' Henderson has suggested VAR machines built by Man Utd supporters have altered game results against them. Also "it's not fair". A Premier League representative was described as 'relaxed' saying "They have no idea where London is and will be distracted by something shiny before they get far enough to attract a C19 travel breach fine.
  2. Many Arse fans were praising Cedric after the last game, while recognising the poor crossing, for at least putting a shift in. Eye of the beholder I guess.
  3. I think the thing about Theo is people have to stop remembering the teenage wunderkid who was dragged off to the world cup and was going to be a saviour of English football. That's blighted most of his career. The truth is he's not, and never really was, a 15-20 goal per season striker. Hs finishing has always been inconsistant. He still has pace, is getting better at pressing, is costing us little for an experienced premier player who can fill more than one gap, and is a decent option at AM. We'd be using a lot more academy 'talent' in the last few weeks if he wasn't around.
  4. He's Grealish
  5. Ignore eh? I admire those that can invoke this forcefull magic. This sad, only slightly paranoid, git would be eaten up with curiosity about what naughty stuff I might miss. Someone (clever?) should do a thesis on the dynamics of footy forums. They are organic in the way they develop, fight, bond, share, struggle and falter.
  6. I really think Fraser's long absence from 1st team action means teams have forgotten the fruitfull ploy of shooting from any range. He suffered once players realised his poor catching, and diving in slow motion, gave them a good chance from 30yds. Credit to him and the coaching staff though, he's a bit more mobile, looks more confident, even found a use for his big toe today.
  7. Be fair, he's had Fraser the Cat to help him out last 3 games.
  8. I was thinking at the game's end his quality almost makes up for invisible man of mystery Salisu.
  9. A better attempt at literature than the nonsense book it reviewed.
  10. At least we know where all the Trump conspiracy nutters have gone now. RAWK is rife with talk of the evil refs/FA/VAR/gravity/tv companies who have ganged up to stop the cheeky, lovable scouse scamps from ruling the football world. So bad, so bad.
  11. Yes, my backhanded compliment is I forgot it was Fraser there, almost mobile. If we can squeeze a couple more clean sheets out of him this season maybe someone will invest a fee for him. Oh, forgot the wages.
  12. My impression from the EFL competition over the last 3yrs or so is u23 teams are mostly not a match for L1 pros. Always difficult to judge as some L1 clubs have not always taken the comp' seriously. Few Prem --> L1 loans seem to result in dramatic success these days either. The standard of footy in L1&2 is better overall than what my old brain remembers from the 70s and 80s (imo). Certainly the financial rewards for a lower league career are vastly improved since then. It may be the increased £££ spent by up and coming (richer) clubs at lower levels have disturbed the old hierarchy as it was.
  13. Q, How many FA board members does it take to change a lightbulb? A, it depends on - is it a top 6 lightbulb Has VAR agreed it a real lightbulb is the lightbulb from London, Manchester or Liverpool will the lightbulb shine a light on FA incompetence Crikey guys just make a decision.
  14. Looking at the details of the Burnley deal is a bit frightening. Only 15m of their own money, 80m loan from a hedge fund with an aggressive reputation, secured against the club assets (ground, bank balance and players). What could possibly go wrong?
  15. I just got banned on rawk. They don't like it up 'em.
  16. Hatches locked down and hope
  17. Yes, the 'pool fans are quite pleased to be playing us as we suit their game. That said their defence always has a dodgy moment so fingers crossed.
  18. As East Kent Saint says, urine was only vaguely diverted into the drainage. There was usually a wee up the wall contest in progress as well. No internet in them days, made our own sophisticated fun back then.
  19. Oh the swear words I learnt as a nipper in the Dell urinals due to this. That and perfecting a tippy toe walk on entering them of course. Now we mutter about concourse decor and poor wi-fi.
  20. I haven't been succesful for any games yet either. Ho Hum though, it looks like we'll be lucky to get the season finished at this rate. Be very Saints to have it cancelled as we sit at or near the top though wouldn't it.
  21. That made I laugh that did. Lets just enjoy these days.
  22. The one good thing about not being able to attend games is I've not been able to groan and moan each time Vesty was selected or got the ball. My apologies to him. Shown some character to get stuck in, improve and once again prove this idiot wrong.
  23. A useful reminder that, crap recruitment can happen at any club, any time.
  24. Jenas is usually un-offensive, but that gaff just demonstrates inattention and not doing your job properly. Scott's comments seemed relevant and informed. Did her homework. I have no interest in the shape/colour/gender/religion/diet/shoe size of any commentator or pundit. But a little knowledge about the game helps.
  25. Sheff U fans not happy about this 'disrespect'. Describe it as trolling. Never mind.
