Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
steve green replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
The one good thing about not being able to attend games is I've not been able to groan and moan each time Vesty was selected or got the ball. My apologies to him. Shown some character to get stuck in, improve and once again prove this idiot wrong. -
A useful reminder that, crap recruitment can happen at any club, any time.

Saints vs Sheff Utd - Match & Reaction Thread

Jenas is usually un-offensive, but that gaff just demonstrates inattention and not doing your job properly. Scott's comments seemed relevant and informed. Did her homework. I have no interest in the shape/colour/gender/religion/diet/shoe size of any commentator or pundit. But a little knowledge about the game helps. -

Sheff U fans not happy about this 'disrespect'. Describe it as trolling. Never mind. -
Played Fulham, not exactly robbed but ̶v̶a̶r̶ , sorry very unlucky.

I know it's unlikely to last but I'm currently taking huge pleasure in Klippy "cool as f**k" Klopp doing a passable impersonation of an epileptic monkey.

This is all most acceptable. -
Blimey, it's dares now. Just like a bunch of public school nonces to turn a national emergency into a silly game!

Pretty much my view. I'm back as a season ticket holder for the last two years after taking a decade or more out when my priorities were elsewhere. I'm very happy that those who invested money and time into the club during that time to get some reward. If people really feel they've been mistreated or misled to the extent of a contract breach by the club then complain to the club, and if not happy with their response take it further. Otherwise get behind the club and look forward to the time we can go back to moaning about how long it takes to get pie/beer at half time.

So sue.

I think people were sold holidays and other products at the time which are just as difficult to stage now, many are finding it very difficult to get refunds at all. I patiently await the return of my Butlins folk festval money which is apparently being paid "as soon as we can process it". Anyone who could've predicted the last few months events, and the changing goalposts inflicted on us by virus and government, is welcome to join my bubble over xmas and have some fun with the £8 left in my sky bet account.
-
I don't like it, but I understand it. The club have struggled with some of the organisational stuff and with hindsight maybe wish they'd not proceeded with ST sales, but then at the time they would've been critisised for that. I think our world has changed rather than the goalposts moved.

About time Bognor was placed in quarantine 😉 I expect there will be armed milita at the Dorset/Hampshire border to stop us BH mavericks from invading though.

KD "easy with that hamstring James, chuckle" JWP "ha, ha, ha".

Sadly I feel the oncoming "Paul Merson's Team of the Week" is just a kneejerk appointment away.

Just realised I'm getting ready to watch today's games with my main anxiety being we'll be 2nd at the end of the day. Very strange, but nice.

I like being top. I really like the appreciation of some rather good footy we are playing.

Sir Rickie Lambert or The King of the Scummers?
steve green replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
Can't beat the Beetroot boy. -
Ditto here re images. On either of my laptops it's just blank. Trust me. I need pictures to make sense of things these days, if not flow diagrams and crayons.

When Bertie was doing his interview and they reminded him of the 9-0 he asked if they were going to talk about the 8-0 as well. It went over the interviewer's head, suspect he didn't know what Bertrand was referring to, not part of the agenda. Ancelotti loses some of the respect I had for him with the red card comments, but then if he wants his players to act like headless chickens . . . .

We should adopt one of the unambitious L1 clubs as a feeder/B team, someone like Portsmouth maybe.
