Depends what training is being done. If it's 100% full on, mimicking a match, then fine as the players should be warm through exercise. If it's a light training session focussing on tactics and positioning then extra layers would be needed to keep muscles warm. Think we'd be up in arms if Lavia did a hamstring in training because he was made to wear shorts and a t shirt for 3 hours whilst not moving around much and keeping warm.
