  1. Me [five] too...
  2. I'm sure that's true. I guess the accountant just made a small mistake? Like the £2.6m short term finance figure, that must be a mistake also - assuming that Robinson's 'loan' is wrapped up in the £10m current liabilities figure. Anyone able to get more detail on the accounts so we can see where the accountant may have made a tiny error?
  3. More worrying is a bank loan of £4m! Who the feck is lending them that kind of money? Snoras Bank?
  4. Apparently you should have the right to complain if they don't bother to answer. If they can't answer the question they should say so and explain why, however this would relate to not having the info I guess, which considering how recent it was shouldn't be the case....
  5. Err no. As Rally was trying to point out to you, they haven't actually been taken over, officially. Just like buying a car on HP, they let you have the keys, they even let you have the V5, they even let you pay for the tax, insurance and servicing to pretend that you own it, but you try defaulting on the payments before you've paid it off in full and see who the real owner is! The skates are exactly the same, they've promised to pay off all the legacy debts - well, when I say all, I mean the ones that they HAD to pay, obviously it's not ALL of them - but we've seen them make promises about paying money in the past and we all know how that turned out! This 'saga' is not over until they've paid all the players the deferred money that they owe them and frankly once they have no parachute payments left and no income over the summer, things will undoubtedly start to unravel, just like they always do
  6. A certificate and a badge. Oh and a slight reduction on season tickets.
  7. So, what are you saying? Was Dickens the original [and no doubt the bestest!] hero-villain from the Doctor's island?
  8. Lol. Let's see how rubbish these stadiums and pitches can get over the long wet winter! I can already see the excuses being formulated
  9. That's gotta be a 'local' firm carrying out the work. I'm not an expert on the 'working at height' regulations, but I'm pretty sure that 'steps' are for access and NOT for working from. I wonder what the HSE would think of this marvelous picture?
  10. Key Performance Indicator. In this case most likely to be volume of calls made / answered, how long spent on the phone, how many inquiries converted to sales. Targets are set and need to be met. I'm not sure 'chatting with the fella behind you' counts as a target, therefore I can see why Bowers's boss doesn't like him....
  11. That's a bit harsh! He's also establishing 'Rapier' as a 'name' within the construction industry, so he's at least mid table League 2. I'd like to know why he has no work history between 1997 and 2002. What was he doing for five years? Did he do a stretch at Her Majesty's pleasure?
  12. I posted this on Super Mickey's thread. Can I now become a self professed Soothsayer?
  13. Well, the last two pages should be saved for prosperity, so when it all goes pop again, which it most certainly will, we can point out that it was those nasty 'orrible scummahs that asked the questions once again instead of the Skates. I doubt Micah will be copy pasting this time around now that he is one of the boys.
  14. Well, well, how odd. You'd have thought that the council would have removed that charge very soon after the debt was repaid. I'm reasonably sure it's not legal to hold a charge over a property when there is no debt held over it. Perhaps there is some truth to the rumour that they paid off the loan only to take out another one immediately after... I'm sure all will be revealed just as soon as they file those pesky accounts.
  15. Anyway.... Since they have paid off the council loan, I'm assuming that the charge on FP held by the council has been lifted. Forgive me as I haven't seen it posted yet that it has been lifted - there was a post a couple of days after the loan repayment showing that the charge was still there, but I guess this was just a case of 'catching up'. Does anyone have access to the relevant websites to see if the charge has gone away yet, they must have caught up by now....
  16. We will only start to do better when we choose an England manager with a pair of ****** that will choose his / her own team. Until then the Red Tops will continue to pick the team and we will continue to be turd.
  17. Not only that, but didn't the judge in their last court case order them to publish the findings poste haste? What has happened to that publication?
  18. I did the maths a few pages back and it turned out to be something like 79% of income being spunked on player wages alone - forget about paying all the other staff and bills etc. Considering the salary cap is 55% of income they are up to their old tricks again, not that we would expect them to question it! The only 'investigative' journalist that they had in the past, who got all his information from here, has conveniently been given one of the jobs for the boys to stop him from 'investigating' / logging in to TSW. Once the parachute payments have finally run out - I guess they count until the end of this season - then continuing to spend money the way they are will see them ruined, again.
  19. There are some seriously deluded people on that website! "what happens if an unexpected bill comes in?" What kind of bill aren't they expecting? They get billed for the things they purchase and the players they sign up during the season! If there are any unexpected bills they have probably come from HMRC and probably [to every other business in the country], aren't really unexpected. I do like the idea of stealing the parachute payments that have been 'ringfenced' [yeah right!] to pay the ex hero-villians so that they can afford to take on some short term hero-villians. Not sure they've really figured out how they will repay the stolen money so my guess is admin 5 in 6-12 months time The only thing I did like on that thread was where they described themselves as a small business
  20. It's true, the app can still be downloaded without the password - it's quite a good feature that makes the App store a little easier to use. However, once downloaded the app would still require a password to authorise any in-game purchases, so as long as the 5 year old doesn't know the password then all will be good.
  21. Isn't Gordon Strachan the Scotland manager? Guess they can cross him off the list!
  22. Some back of fag packet maths from nobhead neil's article... Budgeted turnover = £5,270,000 Parachute payments = £9,725,652 Therefore total income = £14,995,652 Player wages = 27% Therefore player costs = £14,995,652 x 27% = £4,048,826 So, without the Parachute payments increasing the total income figure, the player percentage would be £4,048,826 / £5,270,000 = 77% with a League 2 salary cap of 55%. If they don't get promoted this season with that amount of cash being spunked on players then they really will be screwed for the next decade
  23. Bull****! I can say that because there is actually no way you can prove it Every single [well nearly!] facking scummah has been b-anned from POL, along with a boat load of your own fans, so even IF you could find the thread where you all called him out for what he really is, there is no way you could show it to anyone. Nice paradox eh? So on that basis, I call bull****
