I think both Mee and Tarkowski are decent solid defenders who could have done a short term job for us, a steady hand at the back if you like. Tarkowski can't be too bad, as he has been coveted by the likes of Everton and West Ham this window already.

I don't pay any attention to his views or opinions. For me it's what he did on the pitch that counts. He gave me some of the most memorable moments I have ever experienced watching my team. I would suspect that is true for anyone of my generation too. The guy was an absolute genius with a football. That's all I am bothered about
