I think it was deleted to save peoples face on here. Will never forget someone on here bragging and saying 'I have seen the statue and it's great but I am sworn to secrecy' When it was revealed and people remembered this comment the reply was I never saw it completed only in parts' LOL FFS the whole thing from shoes to top of head was a disaster. Even the bloody plinth was terrible LOL. I will never forget a topic 'Plinth out' LOL I also remember people saying 'This is Saints, it won't ever be taken down, we are stuck with it' How I long for the days when our main worries were a statue :-(

Do you need a ticket for the day event on Saturday or just pay at the gate? Just been speaking to lead singer of BlindVision and he's very impressed with re wholeset up and he said the bands are being supplied with top quality amps and a drum kit already set up on stage.

This is good news IMO. I work in a financ of businesses etc and I see this as Southampton LH hasn't found a buyer. All shares etc will now just go and SLH will be wound up. Club will be removed from Stock Market and someone has brought Southampton FC outright. I would expect an announcement ASAP.

Oi Lungs you should be concentrating on your supposed takeover of Eastleigh. Don't forget the plans we discussed the other day. I am guessing any takeover we lodge we will have to compete with a counter offer from Marc Jackson but I am sure our innovative ideas will win the day ;-) Anyways back to Saints....

May as well shut the ticket office now and send all staff home until further notice??? What else us the club paying them for at the moment? Can't sell season tickets, no more match tickets so sell. I know it's harsh but hard times call for hard action. Plus if we get taken over they can all have their jobs back

I have mentioned 2 bands to Simon on here and the band I know who are defo playing had no problems and a prompt reply. The other band are currently in discussions and have had no problems though
