BWP was also brought in by Lowe just before he left as we used the Coca Cola money to buy him

I would just pay off the debts and ask for a directors box for live and a place on the board. I wouldn’t want to own the club. I would only pay the debts off though on the understanding that Poortvleet is removed. I would also fund 3 or 4 loan signings- Leroy Lita, Dean Winda$$, a proper right back and a decent centre half. So Here’s hoping I win the 50 million on Friday:)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7777584.stm Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has said he is ready to play in the Premier League. Reports have suggested that cash-strapped Saints may try and sell Surman during the January transfer window. And Surman, 22, told BBC Radio Solent: "I feel I'm ready to step up to Premier League level. "Any player wants to play as high as they can. I'd love to play in the Premier League for the benefit of my personal career." He added: "I'm a Southampton player at the moment, and it will remain that way until I hear otherwise." Surman has come through the ranks at Southampton and is a product of their successful Academy. He signed a new deal with the club last year, which runs until 2011. Earlier in his career he enjoyed loan spells at Walsall and Bournemouth. He added: "Some players step up to the Premier too early and end up in the reserves, but I've played over 100 games now, so I feel I'm ready for the next level."

Income from the sale of The Dell site for housing
Paul Chuckle replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
Here is your answer http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/the_company_file/448938.stm Southampton FC has agreed to sell its stadium, The Dell, to housing developer Barratt Homes in a deal worth £5m Saints chairman Rupert Lowe: "We must leave the Dell behind" The Premiership club plans to build a new 32,000 all-seater stadium, on the site of a disused gasworks, in the St Mary's area of the city. Southampton FC moved to The Dell just over 100 years ago. In 1898 the cost of building a football ground was £10,000. The total cost of building a new stadium in St Mary's will be about £30m pounds. The site will include banqueting facilities for 900 people, 40 corporate hospitality boxes and office space. Southampton plans to finance the move with bank loans, grants and a new share issue, which is expected to raise £3 million. The sale of The Dell will need the approval of shareholders in Southampton Leisure, the stock market listed company which owns the football club. The chairman of Southampton Leisure, Rupert Lowe, said the new stadium will increase revenues from home matches and from corporate events. -
no loss IMO Since Preston game he has come back in and we have lost both games. Yes he is talented and still young but at times he frustrates hell out of me and because we are playing him in THE HOLE it is stopping us i feel from playing 2 up front. If we get a good fee for him then i wouldn't be too upset to see him go.
-
i went there a few years back. Is it still called Cheeky Monkeys? a good night though
-
no its not as we have scored 1 hence the 1-5 prediction
-
Wolves always conceede, it was ineveitable that we would score. it will end 1-5 or sometthing near to that
-

-
was just about to say if Jan goes Wotte is 100% to take the reigns IMO. Wotte is renowned for playing tough long ball football. Well the pretty stuff isn't working so might be worth a go????
-
well said that man. This board was brilliant between 2003 - 2006. Bring back Keith Legg ;o) ........ at least he never charged us
-
£5.00 fee would have something to do with it!
-
The 2-0 boxing day defeat away at Fulham in 2003. We were 4th at the time but things just started to unravel after this. 3-0 FA Cup home defeat to Newcastle, Strachan Leaving, Killer getting injured etc etc

If its unopened it would appear he hasn't played it

sorry left the Saintsweb team after not even playing a game. got an offer from a WBA fan to join his team and myself and Crab Lungs duly accepted the big money move to a premiership club. There are 5 of us currently but we are scouting for new players. We even have a Dutch centre forward!!!!!! We played our first game last night and won 1-0 We are playing as Seville.
