He's bound to be on their radar. Why they're using radar and not data, results and management skills I'm not sure. 🙂 Norwich and Hull have dispensed with their managers for not going up. We don't know the direction the club might take if we don't.

Even there, although they telepathically control us through emotional prods in the parts of our brain with common ancestry to reptiles.

The use of language to oppress cultures and races isn't much of a reach.

Watching Will develop his game has been one of the highlights of the season. He's asked to do so many roles, and has improved in all of them, which has boosted his all round game too. Last night was a prime example. Stephens likes to push forward then pass, taking Will's normal game out a bit. So Will is tasked with that more forward role, but still one where he does tons of link up play. When a previous manager put Will in an advanced role, it didn't work out at all. It's taken a lot of work, with Martin giving Will praise for having to pick up even more tasks, some of which weren't his biggest strengths. In that role, he's now an outlet for shots outside the box, gets into the box for cut backs but still works back to set up attacks. As always, he's constantly moving to give the side shape. The areas he moves into, depending on the ask, has also got better. That got tweaked again last night in the absence of Adams. It took a little while, but I saw AA and Will picking up a couple of trademark Che drop backs. Although he got in at least one good defensive tackle last night, that's not his game. It's hard to say if he covers the most distance. But only because we have AA in the side. But he must be up there across the league, even if it's not driving runs that Downes gives us. The team needs Downes in it. When he's there, Will can then use his natural game. He looked very comfortable and key to how the side ticked last night. Good to see how well he gets on with the others and Martin too.

That late goal makes the scoreline a lot closer than the game. They had a little spell of pressure. But we we're solid. They had a shot from a direct ball. Alex had a little fumble that came to nothing. We weakened with late subs and turned off for that final minute set piece. All that work on our passing game pays off as we controlled that game. Lots of running. Lots of awareness. Loads of plusses for everyone. Downes an absolute engine; Will in that more forward role making excellent runs and bringing others into the game, cracking goal; Aribo using his strength and while not always demanding it, does all good things when on it; tireless AA using striker instincts with mobility and tracking back too; Brooks a lot more involved linking up well and we should have got a pen; KWP class and a different level of player. THB and Bedders in that solid, unshoehorned partnership; Stephens had the odd pass go astray. But pitched in all over. Thought he was going to shoot late on; Alex in goal looks the better shot stopper, and we weren't troubled passing it out. We tried mixing the range up a bit tonight, which pins opponents back; Fraser put in a lot of work, allowing others to get into positions. Not a match where two similar teams try to get an edge. We controlled that one, and we're clear winners.

Tsk. Consolation.

Early Rothwell touch. But he turns and looks forward. We donhave a pass it back or side tendency, so nice to see.

Not that I'm expecting a comeback...but quite a drop to the subs. Just getting some minutes and resting 2cof our main midfield 3. Thought Downes would be the one to get tested.

AA! Goal machine.
-
3rd time lucky for a pen
-
Nearly done by a thump over our defence. Nearly one back. They have to push up. We have to spring it past them. More AA running or Edozie.
-
Yes!!!!! Lovely Downes run and AA shifts.. shoots ... and in AA tireless tonight.
-
Edozie for...Brooks. Good game from Brooks. Stretching a bit at the end so a decent swap to get some energy on.
-
Never a foul... Don't concede a daft Norwich goal.
-
Rats! Good move but yeah, offside. C'mon get that second. Give us some space.
-
2 excellent long balls in a row. 1 beating the press, the 2nd picking out Manning.
-
Manning getting ready. That's us getting extra defence and extra attack all in one! Fraser off. Looked a bit huffing tonight. But put a shift in.
-
Half the defence on the deck... Pauses for hand ball claim and Alex with a smart reaction stop.
-
Not the best touch from AA. I thought he was... flag up anyway.
-
Total pen that one. Brooks dive earlier influencing his call?
-
Offside but nice drop back from AA and Stephens, tucked in, taking it forward for the pass.
-
Needed that THB block. WBA getting not quite chances. Need to impose our game back on things.
-
God Alex punch, but not the best follow up claim for it. WBA pushing forward much more already. We have to get possession and use those gaps.
-
Will's movement has been good, as it usually is, all evening. Now, there's no reason why we can't drag them in and create more chances.

Smallbone!!!!! Great run, great strike!!! So chuffed for him!
