  1. No one mention Jet washing... πŸ™‚
  2. Our MVP last time we went up, and great to have that form back. He came across as at ease, confident, and happily backing Tonda.
  3. Just visited my parents. Preemptive smugness on display. I'm now looking for a couple more goals in our win. πŸ™‚
  4. That they've now just hit mid table, in 12th, shows you how dire it was looking before Clement took over. It's been a great run of form to drag themselves out of where WBA and Leicester find themselves. And, as your table shows, it's had to be over a prolonged period, just to get this far.
  5. I have booked in a win for this one, so I don't have to put up with my dad's smugness.
  6. China sends it's Taiwanese invasion fleet to hold the Hormuz straight. Russia and Ukraine end hostilities. Russia are too busy shipping oil while they can. Ukraine are too busy making drones for all the countries that spent 2% on vastly expensive US defence systems. US and Israeli allies keep a battered Iran in check for another number of years, and the conflict fizzles. Dividing up Iranian influence unites them. Previously backed Iranian groups, collapse without funding and are forced to give up starting with the letter "H" Cuba gives up certain communist ideals for electricity and food. Trump considers all of these as wars he's ended or averted. Sure, the markets took a hit. But they bounce back. Trump receives every Nobel peace prize handed out, as it turns out erroneously, to other people in the past. Initially wary, Congress give Trump another term, so he can bring his genius into solving US issues. Sadly, he's bumped off in Dallas. Key suspects include US defence companies, broken after people realised they were no longer needed. The 20 million dollar missile that did the deed is considered to be a hint. An obsessive lone staple gunman is blamed, after he claimed to hear voices in his head from fictional brunch friends.
  7. I had a wheezing Jay Robinson return pencilled in for that season. πŸ™‚
  8. I heard it on the radio. But that didn't do justice for the awareness, controlled header and then calmly beating the last man, all in a couple of seconds right after the Everton attack. It seemed as though he's not only got a good relationship with the other players, but a lot of the staff too. A lovely moment for him and his family.
  9. Ah, so in his head the issues in the Strait are a distinct, not directly part of the war he doesn't need ships for, trade route issue that does need ships. It must be a constant surprise for him to go through life with no concept of cause and effect.
  10. I like my whimsical flights of fancy as much as any poster, but I find any poster not thinking that, hard to believe. πŸ™‚
  11. I wonder whose ships he wants. It can't be ours, as he specifically said not to bother, as the war was over.
  12. Fatawu looked good in one game against us, while Mavadidi looked like he should easily be one of the best in this league. Toxic place.
  13. We fought hard and well to get that win. A desire that's become more apparent recently. Really solid defensively under a lot of pressure. Everyone played their part in getting in key tackles. Azaz and Downes really stood out for me, giving us that strength in the spine. That helped the others to do well. It's a shame Stewart wasn't available. Larin was out of puff before the switch. And Archer just isn't the player our system needs. Azaz tried to pick up some of that work, but he's needed elsewhere. Pleased for Matsuki. He worked very hard. He didn't know much about the goal. But that's where he's trained to be, and it paid off, as we've seen before. A tense bit of added time. But it was a penalty. Charles got done, not long after he came on. But, like the others, got in some good tackles and passes too. Really pleased for the win, that keeps us in contention.
  14. I prefer the character of lower league grounds, and thank SR for lowering the club to my standards.
  15. Great to see the work the Conservatives did before the last election, start to trickle through to the front line reporting. πŸ™‚
  16. Sadly, your bunker seems to allow a wi-fi signal. I was going to ask that you leave some oxygen for others as you hyper ventilate. But by now you'll have realised others were only too happy to close and lock the bunker door behind you.
  17. You are therefore a qualified drone operator. Enlist now!
  18. Bloomin' Labour... "Selective data from your post"? Why, I am outraged!
