As old as Bobby Robson, Roy Hodgson and Alex Ferguson when they were managing in the PL, and only a year or two more than several others.

Be sure to wear a protective helmet with an air supply. Can't be too careful dealing with things that travel at the speed of lint.

I didn't appreciate them until much later. Easily one of the biggest bands to write about Saints with... Our Club (at the bottom of the league) Night boat to Cardiff One Pass Beyond and House of No Fun

For anyone feeling a bit bad about not wanting to go or watch it, take a Hitchhiker's Guide approach. Martin will do exactly the same things every game. We will lose every game playing it. Our opponents will exploit exactly the same things. The feelings we have will be exactly the same every game. SR are going to do exactly the same thing about it. So, if we take it as read that every one of those things is going to happen anyway, one of these groups doesn't really have to turn up. Since the outcome will be exactly the same, all the other groups can just take it for granted that the missing group is actually there. So, if our opponents wanted to nip off for a long weekend, our team could effortlessly concede a number of goals pulled out of a hat before kick off. If supporters want to finish off Christmas shopping, both sides will be giving exactly the same outcome to make sure you're not missing a thing, you've not seen every other game. Russ' press conferences will be exactly the same, and we'll have exactly the same number of points. So don't feel bad about not going or watching. Martin and SR will make sure everything goes the same way, as if you'd actually been. 🙂

I tried to come up with another one, but I'm over-sphinxing it.

HG Wells seems appropriate for SOG to reference. He's very much The Invisible Man when challenged here, and shares delusions with the main character. If only he had a Time Machine to go back and reflect before deciding on his views. Sadly, that probably wouldn't help. What we've had will be just like The Shape of Things to Come.
-
Yup. Off the scale intolerance for religious and political views. Combined with condescension, ignorance and an utter lack of self awareness. That's our SOG.
-
If our fictional friend didn't have a blind spot for racism, congenital lying, and misogyny then he'd not be talking to SOG. Also noted is the utter lack of understanding on why people would vote Republican and the value judgements made against others with different views. No change there, despite being on here where there's lots of different viewpoints.

If he doesn't have a view, I guess the Guardian hasn't had an article on it. Otherwise, we'd have had a post with a link and "interesting" above it.

Just tuned in to see us play out from the back, and give it away both times. 🙂

Sorry. I don't think we're closely related enough. 🙂

18. Russell's self importance. 19. Southampton 20. Manchester City (minus 200 points for financial breaches) It's not looking good for possession based football. I hope our health service is prepared for the surge in people coming out of comas, when it's gone. 🙂

Is it my turn to be considered one of some gang again? I guess it's taken a while to come round as there's a growing number of posters in it. Even more so, since he paid his fiver. I've been seeing "You have chosen to ignore content by the Resident Racist." since around then. I was about to take it off, before seeing a particularly horrible post quoted. I can't even recall what utterly dreadful view was being being spouted that week. There's so many. It was before the faking of a racially motivated incident and well before his trivialising of child abuse. Every week, a new cesspit dug. Last week he seemed to be trapped in an On The Buses episode too mysoginistic to air. With photographic proof no less. This joins the schedule along with the casual racist slurs from his Alf Garnett inspired episodes. This week sees the pilot of SOG's All in the Family.

Not tennis balls! At 50 passes to get each ball across the park and out of play, the ground won't be useable for years. 🙂

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

News of Tomorrow... Today! 10th October 2026 Government sources state that £70 000 is spent having a civil servant act as a courier for "The Folder." The news comes to light following a public Downing Street fight outside Number 10 on whose turn it was to be photographed with "The Box" The Government were asked why they simply didn't switch to a mainstream brand, offering durable folders using modern materials at a much lower cost. A spokesman said that the courier's bike was within emission tolerances, that the salary was within expectations for living in London, and that the cost was shared among departments, and therefore wasn't an utter waste at all. He finished by pointing out that it was clearly his department's turn for the folder. So there. -
So, this BBC lot. They do news every day? And, that Guardian. It does parodies of it, every day too? Wow. It's an amazing world to be part of. 🙂

Isn't the answer always going to be c)? SOG was the poster that gave us daily installments of his anti-Semitism. Past current labour's tolerance, past the ones they got shot of. Then the ones the extreme found too extreme. Then onto citing activists only to have comments far more extreme than they were saying. Ending up going past politicians who had apologised for their use of extremist language. All before the Hamas attack, following which we've had gems like the hostages being safer with Hamas, as well as those in the area at the time of their attack.
