  1. Tepid second half. Doncaster increased their tempo, threatened from crosses, and we folded. We were 3 up without hammering Doncaster. All the easier to slip into the low energy, low determination, low attack zone we spend so many seconds halves in. Leo coming on probably saved us conceding again, as he kept the ball up the park for a bit. In the end Peretz had to palm the ball away twice to stop the equaliser. We looked very shaky on set pieces, against a side who had clearly been working on them. Into the next round, which is all that matters.
  2. Wow. We're useless this half. 2-3.
  3. All Doncaster, who could easily have had a second. We've once again not bothered to come back out. And despite the lead we weren't exactly using up blistering amounts of energy in the first.
  4. Our amazing second Halfs continue. What does Tonda say to them?
  5. A very comfortable lead. We had loads of possession. But, having got our one ahead, we're happy to not impose ourselves on the game, happy to pass it about. Our second came from us not getting the foul he wanted, and getting up to go through their defence. Our third was a nice move between Fellows and Matsuki. We've not been under much pressure. But Peretz has had enough to do to look fine. A nice save from a dangerous free kick, and a huge long through reaching well over half way nearly releasing Fellows, were highlights. He also waved his defender to get on with getting the ball forward when faced with a pointless pass. We did have a few scrappy defensive moments. Just a few poor passes. Just as well no real pressure. Unsurprisingly the players look more comfortable in this shape. Could do with seeing a bit more from some of them considering the level of opposition. To Tonda's credit this team have all had minutes. None of them were coming in cold. They know what's needed to get into the side Looks .Ike the commemorative shirt will be getting another run out
  6. Hopefully the puns will not cloud over the very important weather news.
  7. Are you asking for fun, or is it a cirrus question? 🙂
  8. It's not that far fetched. Beasant is 66 and Jones is 58. Even then, though...

  10. The trousers stalker is not a name you'd want for a number of reasons. 🙂
  11. I can only echo what's above and hope it's been caught early and hope they beat it. Such an important part of so many people's football life.
  12. I know. He'd be cup tied anyway, even with the new rules.
  13. My dad always mentions Chivers with pride when mentioning the very best players to have played for his club. And that was the less than dozen appearances he made for Norwich. Even that late in his playing career, you could see eyes light up having a legend attached to his club. While that was a later season, it would get other relatives remembering, and talking about, his earlier career. Again, those eyes would light up remembering the strength and power he had, and just how prolific and unstoppable a scorer he was. One of those players just universally admired and respected. Such a sad loss and our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans across many clubs (including my dad's Norwich).
  14. Quality Street and Beer and you've pretty much covered all the dietary requirements. If anything, supplements could be dangerous. Unless they are top ups of quality street and/or beer.
  15. Neil McCann now Kilmarnock manager.
  16. I thought that was a food group, rather than a supplement?
  17. There's no evidence he did it himself. There's no way those shooting feet accurately got into a pair of socks and then boots, without help.
  18. Was the answer "Before I picked up the first of my Olympic medals in the women's events"?
  19. Don't get too disheartened if your overall goal is unrealistic. Getting a decent percentage of that number of laughing emojis is an achievement itself. Not to mention the enjoyment you'll be giving others with your humour, which is priceless.
  20. Too slow to get out of the way of vehicles? Oh, you meant behind the wheel. 🙂
  21. Thanks a bunch for ruining years of therapy. And that was just the Tranmere line. 🙂
  22. Probably on the back of that article, but a 5 live show said much the same. Like you say, if the manager is sacked, the DOF has to come out and explain. They are known figures and fans know the responsibilities. They said one reason is that there's still a lack of certainty on what the role of the DOF here is. It allows DOFs to escape responsibility, when their choices get sacked. Their roles aren't as well defined, or even as well understood here.
