Not on round Justin's and Iraq goals has shut down I think
-
I'd go with: Bart Butterfield Jos Martin Harding Forte Morgan Ward-Prowse Holmes Reeves De Ridder
-
Talksport saying they want Adkins to replace him.

How is everyone getting on? I'm 5th going into December - 4 points off the top 2. I'm finding the full game way more frustrating than the demo. Have had so many injuries its ridiculous. Seems that 2 players go off with knocks every single game! Have had Fraser and Danny Fox out injured about 3 or 4 times already. It took a while for me to get Rickie firing but he's looking good now. My team: Davis Richardson----Fonte----Chambers----Fox ---------------Morgan------------------- ------Hammond----Cork---------- ---------Lallana----------- Lambert----Sordell

After last night, definitely. Proved he can deal with strikers who have played in the Prem (i.e Carew). I'd sign him on a permanent if he's available at the right price.
-
Agree, thought he looked more dangerous than Lambert yesterday night.
-
Would rather have seen cork in tonight and benched for reading if that is the reason. He's our best cm and this is our toughest game!
-
Cork on the bench?! Oh dear
-
Well if we don't it definitely won't be 3-0!
-
Or if Adam isn't fit, we could put SDR in and drop Chaplow back to the bench. Harsh I know, and I do really like Chaplow but Steve's pace might be more effective for this one.

I'm always confident going into a home game so think we will win. Pumped for this one though, top 2, sell out crowd, under the lights. Has all the makings of an absolute cracker. Roll on Tuesday night.
-
Even though he's a Skate I'd take Matt Taylor too.
-
These formation things they have on that website are cool. I'd go with this on Tuesday:
-
On twitter only described as a 'knock' so hopefully not as serious as the first poster makes out. This is the right kind of game for Chappers though.
-
We could always bring Nige on if needed
-
Amazon have it for £24.99 - not too bad.
-
Have to say I do really like Harding BUT Fox and Richardson were both brilliant yesterday - they looked dangerous going forward and solid defensively. Fox also whips in a really decent ball. For me these two are now our first choices at full back.
-
Did you actually go? Mellor perked up Preston no end when he came on and they actually started to look a bit dangerous. Forte on the other hand was absolute garbage and definitely didn't win any headers.
-
This. We don't have anyone to fit into the Lambo mould should he get an injury.
-
Perhaps you are right...but I'd rather him than Forte as the back up striker. I meant he could provide back up FOR Lambert as we don't have anyone like him (Guly maybe but not really) should he get an injury. Last season showed that the LB and DC combo didn't really click.
-
Agree about Mellor - he did look good. I thought he was a good option when we were linked in the summer. Could certainly provide back up for Rickie if needed.
-
He was ok, fairly solid and got forward a bit. A few wayward passes though and he did get caught out of position a few times. Not better than Harding or Fox I'm afraid.

Just got back from the game. Was a fairly solid, comfortable performance against a pretty average Preston team. The one thing I thought was really encouraging was the way that the second string players seemed to adjust into playing the exact same brand of exciting, passing football being served up by the first team. I love the whole ethos which seems to be running through the whole club. The one negative for me is that Forte's performance shows us that we simply do not have the cover available up front with LB injured. He was terrible, always waiting for the ball and never really looked a credible goal threat. We do need another striker I feel even with LB coming back as I fear that DC won't last the whole season.

I wouldn't. Cork is our best midfielder so why wouldn't we play him in his best position?
