Bumped into Les Reed in the car park this morning. Asked him how the trip to Portugal went. He replied that it was a night mare. I asked if that meant bad news. He said Unfortunately yes. Just thinking back to the summer, and the sponsor/kit fiasco. Sunseeker have alot of gold in their logo. Any credibilty that there could have been something discussed then, hence the kit decision to go with gold logos. If Cortese decided back in the autumn that he wanted out, was this a possibility. Obviously if he wanted to pursue the takeover he would need to be out of his role as CEO or face a conflict of interest. Absolutely no source, just me, hypothesising.
