I think that the club owes Crouch respect and thanks. However, we now have a new start. Let McMenemy & Crouch be the "grand old men" of the club. Much respected for past deeds but now just fans.

The right decision IMHO However, I think Mark Wotte was a decent bloke and deserves respect

First, I want a good manager. Second, when our good manager is sucessful I want our new owners to back him with reasonable funds. Simple really ;-)

My final post on Lowe & Wilde (I hope assuming the takeover happens etc.). Lets remember their contribution to the club by naming a toilet block at the ground after each of them.

Fry seems to have changed his tune in a few days............his earlier statement was very damning of the FL. Now he's on the "O s*** I better sell this quickly" path.

My take for what its worth. Someone at Pinnacle is probably taking a cold look at the dealings with the FL. They are probably unwilling to lie down and agree to a totally one sided agreement (i.e. you loose 10 points, no appeal and we reserve the right to take away more points if we want). However, the FL are used to having everything their own way (unless of course your West Ham) and will probably get it :-( Either Pinnacle will play ball with the FL (and we get a club) or they will walk away and one hell of a lot of mud will be thrown at the FL (and our club will be back in intensive care)

Mr Fry isn't a happy man me thinks, "incredible abuse of power" are strong words from someone who has been pretty measured so far.

What we need is a manager who understands this league and who is allowed to buy/loan a few players to get the balance he (she?) wants

My Advice for what its worth :- 1. The league position never lies. 2 .You can please some of the people some of the time (this is what Rupert Lowe failed to do in the last year) 3. You can't please all the people all of the time.

Considering the changes we've had in the boardroom over the last 3 years this would seem to be a very logical explaination of taking times to tie up odds and ends. Lets hope its lots of little snags and no big ones and that we have a club to support next season
