I feel very sorry for the small shareholders who have lost money. IMHO the fault lies squarely with some/all major shareholders who thro' a mixture of greed and arrogance ran the ship straight into an iceberg.

Football League will wait and see. If we get a serious buyer who can afford good lawyers result no points deduction. If we can't afford good lawyers then they will throw the book at us.

I would imagine that if there is a significant investor willing to take Saints on they would want to know exactly where we stand with regard to points deductions. A certain points deduction would obviously reduce the chance of us finding an investor. We are the first "big" club to be in this situation since the start of the credit crunch (I think?). If we find an investor then some confidence may return to the football financial world. If we don't find an investor and go under we will be the first of many I sadly suspect. If the FA impose a points deduction maybe it will set a whole pile of dominoes falling?

Trying to stay positive, all we know is that Lowe/Wilde could'nt find a buyer. Now they have gone maybe the field will open up.

Its pretty lame that the existing directors could'nt have put the £110K in to bring the overdraft back below the limit. There are literally hundreds of thousands of similar companies in the country where the directors are doing similar. I also suspect that if Lowe & Wilde offered to proxy their share to Leon for a year and let him rejoin the board he would have got his cheque book out and paid the £110K like a shot!

i would be interested to know who is buying the shares at the moment. i know the numbers are not huge and the price is low, but i'd still like to know

I'm optomistic that we might just stay in the Championship this season. However, without changes at board level, I can't see anyway that things are going to get dramatically better. It will be interesting if we survive how Wotte & Lowe get on in the close season

When my kids were in Reception Class there was a big poster on the wall which read "IF IT WOULD MAKE YOU CRY, DON'T DO IT!" Some posts are obviously set up for er......."robust debate" ........in which case fine. Others are not, and its sad when the debate sinks into "robustness"

I think that the lack of ITK has made the forums dull. Remeber when we all logged in for the next episode? ;-) At the moment its all just scrapping over will we go into Admin? (No I don't think so) Will Rupert Lowe be driven out ? (I wish, but doubt it, and would worry who might take his place) Do Wotte & the players deserve our support (yes definately!, they are are team FFS)
