  1. If you're still looking for a mechanic, Shaun is the chief mechanic at Crescent Suzuki (Bursledon) and is the only mechanic I'd let anywhere near my bike
  2. Three years ago Sunseeker started a similar project and the wastage was phenomenal, so much so that they dedicated a whole team to utilise the waste created. Their problem is that Robert Braithwaite didn't run Sunseeker as normal company whilst it was family owned because all he wanted to do was build yachts without too much concern about making a massive profit. It's only when they became financially unstable due to the recession (Billionaires buy aluminium yachts, not GRP ones and millionaires were in the decline), that the banks started to take over. Their instalment plans were restrictive too because it was too heavily weighted to the final payment and therefore the buyers would wait until the weather was better before taking delivery of their yachts, hence why Poole Quay is literally like a taxi rank on a Saturday night! In the short-term, I can't see them moving anything to China, as Palmer Johnson found out - moving a business to another country (US to UK) doesn't always work out. The yachts are prestigious for a reason.
  3. When I can't make the games it's usually easy enough to find a stream. I do miss being able to listen to Dave Merrington on the radio always spouting the obvious though! Other than that, Saintsweb, NewsNow and texts etc from friends.
  4. Thanks again for today guys, it reminded me why I gave up playing! Seriously though, a good bit of fun, cheers.
  5. Just to rub it in, I'll have a lie in until about 9:45 and then drive the 15 minute drive. I'll leave enough time for the nervous poo though ;-)
  6. That backfired a little didn't it?
  7. About time. They've been 'leaking' cash for years (excuse the pun) and been run by the bank for the last few years.
  8. Cheers Steve. I can bring a full back along who would suit the subs bench?
  9. I'm in if you need a centre half or forward. 32, live just around the corner, have played Hants Prem but not at that standard these days but can still play :-)
  10. Arjen Robben would be a pretty decent 'dream' signing. Wouldn't cost an awful lot either.
  11. Have you received the ST's VFTT? I posted them on Sunday and haven't got email access so hoping you say yes!
  12. I'm hoping that the current owners and chairman share the Jim Collins philosophy of turning a good company into a great one. For that to happen, champions league is a minimum requirement you'd have thought?

  14. No idea when he moved but I was the part exchange ;-)
  15. He's from St. Albans up here in Hertfordshire, just outside London, so god knows why he's a Toffee! His quotes are a little Le Tissier-esque though! I wonder if we'll hold him in the same regard when he retires?

    No it's not.
  17. Normally at this time of year a group of us hire the pitch etc at st Mary's for a game of football and have done so for the last four years. This year however they've denied us this opportunity due to stadium developments. Make of that what you will.
  18. As a cat c game, it's £295ea for a table of 10 in the Bill Nicholson Suite. Come and join us!
  19. Lol! Why?! Because I can't stand the type of fan that feels the need to mention every game they go to and wave their season ticket in the air, whilst singing "we are block 42"? I couldn't care less about the poor grammar of the post.
  20. Look at me! Look at me! I don't swear often, but you're a prize ****!
  21. 1981....the year I was born!
  22. Saints fan from Stoke (originally from millbrook) has died. Says on the link that he was an avid poster, was it on here? Maybe Daren Wheeler can shed some light? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10200518._/
  23. Personally I wish him luck. I don't think I've ever seen him give anything less than 100% for Saints. It's just unfortunate that his best wasn't good enough for Saints in many people's eyes on here apart from the goal at Reading maybe. 60% of st Mary's chanting Steeeeeeve whenever he received the ball is an example of how many fans were excited by him. Personally I'd rather have him on the bench than see Steve Davis on the pitch but then again it's all about opinions!
