  1. You cant trust those pikeys with anything... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/opinion/lost-and-in-need-to-be-found-pompey-memorabilia-that-s-gone-awol-1-5374756
  2. 2:03 - Ramirez and Hooiveld attempting to wind chambers up, Hooviled taps his shoulder from behind Gaston's back, then Gaston get him with the old "look, somethings on your shirt" trick... Quality.
  3. Isn't it refreshing to read a forum where all the posters aren't having a pop at each other. Must be nice for those Man U and Liverpool fans not to have to wade through a load of point scoring posts.
  4. Cheers Phil. When I went in 1997, I flew with Uzbekistan Airlines via Tashkent !!! Back then the internet wasn't the way to book flights, had to ring around all over the place to get a good deal. I know that was over 15 years ago, but I assumed the internet would offer competitive prices in this day and age. Instead of ringing around, I'll email around!! Cheers
  5. Hi, cheers for the response. It seems that printing is the issue, ive found a few sites that allow me to add locations etc, but then wont let me print due to licensing issues. Google maps seems to allow you to print, but it wants to print a screen grab (as opposed to just the map) I think I've got a work around though, and have explained to the person that wants this to present the data electronically (this is 2013 after all!) Cheers
  6. Hi, I need to produce an AO sized map of the UK, with about 53 locations marked on it....by tomorrow morning. Ideally, I need the end result to be a .png / .jpg file that I can put on a USB stick and print of on the plotter printer in the morning. Anyone got any suggestions as to how I go about this, so far I’ve found sites like zeemap that will allow me to add locations easy enough, but charge to print it (£30 for AO!), or I could manually add the locations to a hi res image of the UK, but this would probably take a long time, that I don't have! Any helpful advice would be gratefully received!
  7. Ideally fly to Delhi, as I'm planning on heading up into the Himalayas. I spent 9 months in India in 1997 and went to Rishikesh, Dehra Dun, Manali, Leh etc and fancy doing something similar...but in 2 weeks, as opposed to 9 months! Cheers for the info so far.
  8. I would have one just for observational purposes.
  9. Hi, I'm currently looking in to flights for India, I want to go around May next year as its my birthday, but I'm open to suggestions if another time of year is cheaper. As a result of looking, I now get banner ads offering me flights as cheap as £411, but can I find those £411 flights, can I f5ck. Does anyone on here go to India regularly, or knows who to go about getting cheaper flights (ie, is it cheaper to fly on a Sunday etc) Or, does anyone use a particular site to search for good deals. Cheers
  10. That's one spoilt kid right there
  11. Glad to see that most people haven't include Steven Davis in the starting XI, I still don't know what he offers the team, that we don't already have.
  12. What about all the other years that we were in the Prem.
  13. The article was only vaguely linked to my question, but yes I did mean "when was the last time we bought a player from a Premier League team, whilst in the Prem ourselves"
  14. I was thinking last night about our new ambitious era, and the cash we have spent on Lovren and Wanyama. I still need to pinch myself that we are back in the Prem and buying players for circa 12M. I thought to myself that this is all well and good, but you know when you are a force to be reckoned with when you are able to pinch players of other Prem teams. I then saw this article this morning http://www.thejournal.co.uk/sport/sport-opinion/agenda-premier-leagues-domestic-transfer-5382777 Which raises the question, when was the last time we bought a player from another Prem team? Am I right in thinking it was Delap from Derby.
  15. Seeing as though it includes "a special feature on the game" - I imagine they aren't going to broadcast it in a couple of weeks time. Today perhaps...

  17. Bet the Germans wished Karsten was around in the 40's
  18. When you say "hard evidence" do you mean articles that can be removed from the ground, if not, there is plenty of hard evidence on the Western Front... Point Du Hoc Oradour Arromanches Merville Battery There are others, but I dont have the time to post pics of all of them Normandy in particular is littered with battlefield reminders.
  19. A club of our stature is never going to attract the big big signings, we can try...and get a bit lucky with Lovren and Wanyama, but most players are going to choose european football over a stint on the south coast. Like I said, we may as well try; and if they dont wok out, move on to 2nd choice.....3rd choice etc.
  20. The flip side of that though is that he probably wont find it hard to get work from a skate firm now. Could probably drink out on it for a while as well.
  21. I guess if were that serious about signing Hooper, we would set up some sort of swap deal if Celtic came in for Sharp... http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/english/neil-lennon-eyes-up-billy-sharp-for-celtic-1-3001506
  22. How is it possible for 4 people to all miss each other with a high-five.
  23. Perhaps Brijan Tours didn't have a Starliner available
