Hang on a sec, how come I coming out of this looking like a c**t. I felt sorry for Turkish, his Dad and their situation. I wasnt having a go at any of them, just pointing out how this thread will be used by some.

At the end of the day Turks, Im glad its been sorted. My Dad hasnt been to a game in 2 years due to having bone marrow cancer and not having an immune system.

The point I was trying to make was that people have been resolving issues long before social media came along. I couldnt see any mention of an ongoing dialougue with club about this situation in the OP, just that they had an incident when trying to purchse tickets (presumably at the ticket office) - so wondered why Turkish would decend to the mong board, before taking it up with the correct channels first. The title of the thread says "Serious post", well if its that serious, its wasted on here. Like I say, some will take this as a dig at his Dad (when it isnt), I just pointing out that all this thread has done is created another arrow for the usual supsects to aim at NC.

Yeah, God knows how people resolved disputes before Facebook and Twitter came along....guess they sent a task force.

Feel sorry for your Dad, and hope it gets sorted, but wouldnt it have been better to wait for their response first before posting on here. You just know the anti Cortese brigade will now include this in the list of outrageous things he's done to the fans, when he probably isnt even aware of this particular situation. I've never really rated Martinez, and couldn't understand what Whelan was on about when he said that Martinez would only leave to go to a "top, top club". I honestly think that Whelan thought he hand the next Man U / Real / Barce manager at his club. Would love to have seen his face when Martinez told him he wanted to go to Everton. I'm not sure longevity has anything to do with it, Arsene Wenger and David Moyes have both been around for a long time and have won the nothing between them in the last 7 years.
