Fair enough, but you could also spin it that he has not been able to progress a team that consistently finishes top 8, to something a bit higher, despite spending £75M. Also, a team that finishes top 8 most seasons, should have won a cup by now, to be fair. Where do you think Moyes will end up if he leaves Everton - Man U, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal? - I doubt if he would get the gig at any of those; maybe Arsenal but why would they appoint someone that hasnt won anything, after 7 years of not winning anything. I think he will need to go abroad to prove himself. I've only one post left after this, so ill have to pick my response carefully.

Not terrible, just not the shrewdest in the league. I think, along with Martinez, he's got to be one of the most overrated managers going. He's spent £75M on 42 players in his time at Everton (£6M on Beattie!!!!) and has got nothing to show for it. NC would have had him out the door after the first or second season.

Shrewd enough to have won f*ck all in the 11 years he's managed Everton. Don't tell me, he's done it all on a small budget.
