The notion that he can stay on now is fanciful tbh. When I thought it was a one off misdemeanour I would say back him. It’s definitely worse than losing normally. Going out as cheats isn’t something I ever thought could happen. We’ve always tended to do things the right way. At least before SR arrived on the scene. And even then, I’m still absolutely convinced that our cheating had a minimal impact on our wins or unbeaten run. Well I wouldn’t have spied on other teams in such an obvious way. Nor would I have admitted to the charges to the opposition’s CEO. Then I would have delayed all the hearings for as long as possible. But failing all that, and with everything that’s gone on, I don’t have a fucking clue because I’m not a dinlo like parsons.

Im not. But they can’t treat it as a seperate competition in one instance, then the same league in others. It’s part and parcel of the same league. Looking at the regs, it’s not even clear what the definition of “Play-off” is.

Which is ridiculous as it means we’ve been kicked out of the playoff competition because of the photo of an intern with an iPhone. They can’t have it both ways. Either they’re the same competition or different. Our lawyers should kick off about this

Also, If they treat the playoff as a separate competition, we have been thrown out for one alleged incident. It seems they have picked their punishment based on arbitrary dates.

I’m still really struggling to come to terms with how stupid the club are. 1) to spy for barely any meaningful gain 2) to then admit we’ve done it, and agree to push the hearings up as quickly as possible. I cannot comprehend how brain dead this is. If you’re going to cheat, at least do it well. Then if you get caught, you HAVE to deny & delay until after the final. This entire thing is just so dumb I can’t put it into words.

yeah it’s fucking grim. I was at a trade show all day, raced across the country to be back for kick off. 19 hour day in total. All for nothing.
