here's a view from an outsider.....http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/pope-benedict-britain-controversy/2010/09/15/id/370432?s=al&promo_code=AC09-1 Seems more and more peeps are getting a better idea of modern Britain "The country Joseph Ratzinger will get to know this week has changed unrecognizably since then, and for the worse, to become little but an uncouth, boorish, and sex-obsessed Rude Britannia." Just about sums it up

Not for much longer http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1311853/One-million-Cuban-jobs-radical-reform-revolution.html Heh, dunno what the lefties are going to cling on to now...They've been trotting out Cuba as the shining light of Socialism/Communism for decades...now it looks like time has caught up with Cuba just the same as it did with all the other Commie countries. Seems the only significant group of peeps who still want to live under Commie rule are Obama and his swooning supporters and 50% of Brits

Post of day! Unfortunately it will be lost on most on here.....

There's something rotten to the core at this Club....and ts not Cortese and it wasn't Lowe.....Nope......I can't think of a more miserable bunch of losers than 'Saints fans'....What the hell happened to y'all?....did someone put something in the water over there?
-
Overseas saints what other teams do you follow?
Saint George replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
World Champions, New Orleans Saints all the way baby! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IC4aoW_uaU XXIV WHO DAT! -
Great post....unfortunately it will be lost on most of the bumkins on here....pitch forks, flaming torches and ducking stools is about their limit
-
From what i can see, once again Saints fans get what they deserve......This has to be the most miserable fan base of any team, in any sport...nothing will ever be good enough for this generation of Saints fans....any kind of success would be wasted on 80% y'all
-
There was a time when you only had to say something negative about the Saints Trust to get a PM or two...in fact it would bring every butcher, baker and candlestick maker out of the woodwork....Hell, you could even get infractions pm'd to you for that too.....I'm sure the first Ted Bates statue was designed and approved by pm.
-
yeah you right about taking it easy the night before... especially here with some of the alcoholic concoctions available We're in section 557 ..That's almost exact opposite corner to your seats.....Hows Tim Tebow working out for y'all?.....he signed for the Bronco's didn't he?......We went to the Sugerbowl this year and saw him play in his last Collage game...very impressive. Oh, dont forget to go to Church while you're here WHO DAT!

With the Dome being right on the edge of Downtown New Orleans, there's not a 'huge' amount tailgating, at least not in the way its done in other Cities with out of town stadiums with huge parking lots.....Na, as with everything New Orleans, we have our own style of doing things....There's a bit of tailgating in one or two public parking lots and on some waste ground under the Claiborne bridge on the north side of the Dome...those guys get going from about 7.... Most peeps head for Bourbon St or various other bars around town and things really start to ramp up from around 9 ish......There aint nothin like a NOLA Bloody Mary or two at 9 before a Saints game...Its a tradition here From about 10, Poydras (main street up to the Dome) is buzzing with peeps, music and alcohol....There always used to be a band on from 10 outside the Dome on 'Bud Bridge' but that was demolished and made way for the new Champions Square, we got to check it out before the Texans game and its awesome. Bigger stage, more food, more alcohol...perfect ....so a fair few peeps will be heading there for 10-10:30ish. Getting take out beer won't be a problem...If you want to load up before you hit Downtown...just call into any Gas Station....There's one at Lee Circle, on the Street car line from your hotel As for Cornhole...heh I had to google it....Figures, its some dang Yankee thing .......http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2009/12/new_orleans_saints_and_indiana.html (funny readers comments lol)........."Uh, hate to ask, but how do you play cornhole? Colt fans sure have some strange rituals if it is what I think it is." Man.....looks like i was right about the Cowgirls....they stunk the place out against the Texans last night lol.....change your pick quick! heh...just seen the Saints version of the DirecTv Sunday ticket rival add on youtube lol...... WHO DAT!
-
What with the season about to start and it also being the 5th anniversary an all, there's no better time for a re run of this just to give ya'll who are coming for the Panthers game a little taster Btw Rut......the cowgirls are going to let you down
-
Indeed ......Went to watch the Saints demolish the Texans game last Saturday.....first pre season game we've ever bothered going to and was amazed to see all the regulars in our section had the same idea....The Dome was packed.....70,025 attendance The teams looking good again this year ....Reggie Bush is on fire and finally showing signs of living up to his potential and the rest of the offence are where they'e always at ....This is the second year for Greg Williams Monster Defense and it shows...these guys are hungrier, faster and meaner than ever....Expect to see 'Farve on the ground' a lot during the season opener...I hope for his sake the Vikings come with a better plan to protect him than they had the last time, or its going to get ugly. I didn't see anything on Saturday to make me think we don't have a great chance of a TWO DAT!....Just need a bit of work on our Special Teams and we're good ...Hell even our backups were wooping up on the Texans long ofter our first team had left the field WHO DAT!
-
I dunno...But i do know a certain English newspaper ran a headline of E.A.S.Y after the draw....Now where did England finish again?.......Oh yeah in second place behind 'you know who' lmao http://kerins.org/2010/06/19/the-sun-easy-front-page-englan/

Best bet is to take the overnight Poole to Cherbourg ferry and drive straight to Sancte Marie Ecclesi which was pretty much the Northen flank and the landing zone for the US Airborne....You can get there before daybreak and experience dawn in the square in front of St Marys church, famous for the parachutist caught up in the spire...Quite an experience...Then give your self two days to make your way down the 40 odd miles of beaches/landing zones to the Pegasus Bridge, which was pretty much the Southern Flank and the target for the British Airborne forces. You'll definitely need two days to take everything in....even then you won't get to see everything, the whole area is pretty much a 40 mile long museum and as others have said, definitely visit Pointe-Du-hoc and the British and American cemeteries and the remains of the Mulberry Harbou in Arromanches. There or Bayeux would be a good place to stop over for the night

Sponsorship and Corporate Hospitality
Saint George replied to Dave Benson Phillips's topic in The Saints
Oh yeah?....really?.......Is that why KrapNotArf was crammed full of glitzy high tech electronic advertising last season? lmao! Don't you go worrying yourself over the US economy, we'll be just fine, even more so once we've shackled the Commie in November....I'd have thought you had enough to worry about, what with double dip recession risk and the 'true' Government debt running to $110k per person...You and your kids have my sympathy paying that back. BTW, only 5% unemployment rate down here in good 'ole right to work and Union free Southern Louisiana and thats even with the thousands of jobs that were lost from BP's negligence and the grand standing Commie.....Hell, we even have a couple of 'British' manufacturing companies moving over here from Blighty...That's 600+ jobs less for you and 600 more for us, with more to come and a little more business for me -

Just how obsessed do you need to be to give a ****?.....really? To think some peeps actually 'pay' money to come and take part in this obsession fest -

yup.....There's a distinct rotten fish smell starting to waft from his direction -
Well "World Champions" we are. It says so on the official ring 'and' the official banner, soon to be unveiled in the Superdome ......and all your whining and crying about it won't make a damned bit of difference. Except of course to give me a chuckle...... So you better get used to it. WHO DAT? WE DAT! TWO DAT!

The fact you, like many Brit's no longer see, or feel it, just demonstrates how deeply the indoctrination has run....Government intervention has become so embedded into British life, most peeps don't even notice it's there anymore. Hell, y'all have whole generations born into it. To them it's normal and the way things should be, they know no different .....The view from the outside certainly shows a clearer picture
-
When the Britbowl gets something close to equal standing with the Superbowl, you may have a point worth discussing.....
-
Care to name any other American football team in the World that can lay claim to being the World Champions last year?
-
Thursday 9th September in the Superdome to be precise ....Where the World Champions, The New Orleans Saints kick off the season and their TWO DAT! campaign against the Vikings (Farve on the ground part deux) The Season Tickets this year are amazing ....they're part of a spiral bound letter sized book! WHO DAT!

It's cool you have a phone that suits you needs so well .... But as for the other phones catching up bit, it's maybe it's time for you to open your eye's a little....Your statement was certainly the case a year ago, except of course in the actual 'telephone' dept, where the iPhone was bottom of the pile. But over the last six months or so, Android phones have snuck up, passed, and are now disappearing in the distance and they also make better 'phone calls' to boot. My Droid X is a 'Huge' improvement over my old iPhone in just about every area, except maybe a little bit of smoothness that the iPhone does really well..........Nail that and it will be a no brainer in every department...and that's right now..... Add to the mix the fact there will be at least 4 more Android phones released along with at least 3 new major OS revisions between now and the iPhone 5 and its it's not even close. heh ...I'll even welcome you to the world of Android now......It'll only be a matter of time
