Y'all know the song 'Oh when the Saints go marching in' originated as a 'Jazz funeral' song in New Orleans right? You know what to do!
-
Spot on Art I can honestly say St Mary's has been the most negative sporting arena I've ever experienced in 'any' sport, 'anywhere', 'anytime' and that's for over 40 years The daily *****ing on this forum fits in well where Saints fans are concerned
-
I'm in two, well 3 minds over all this....On one hand i really hate the ever increasing controls and commercialization of Image rights and over the top copyright enforcement (removal of poor quantity 2 min you tube clips etc) But having said that, as a Saints fan since 72 i can honestly say we owe the press/media **** all. So.....screw em! Also this looks like a sign of things to come and that Cortese is not going to leave a stone unturned when it comes to the success of Southampton FC......He's only taking maximum advantage of the law/rules as they stand.....If peeps don't like it, get the law/rules changed. The big boys better make some room at the top table, because Cortese is going to be setting a place there for the Saints, whether they like it or not!

You seem to me to be the typical kind of immigrant that people tend to despise around the world, no mater where it is....You've planted your self in another country and all you seem to be doing is ***** about the Country you've moved to...I'm guessing you have a little insular circle of expats, you clearly consider yourself somewhat superior and spend most of your time looking down your nose at the locals. Why are you still here?...Why don't you go back to the UK where you'll have little chance of having to breath the same air some backward swamp dwelling Redneck WHO DAT!
-
This is a great comparison.....The only thing i'll add, is the iPhone doesn't do 'phone calls' that well...That was the main reason i replaced my iPhone 3GS with a Droid X.....The call quality/reliability's not even close.......The Droid X is also far more customizable than the iPhone. Widgets and 7 home screens means you can set the phone up exactly how you want it...The DX isn't available in the UK but from what i hear the HTC Desire and the Samsung Galaxy are also right up there

Eastleigh's DoF, Dave Malone in tonight's Echo

He used get all bitter and twisted over the Saints because Rupes was nasty to him and once put him in his place during a phone call......Now Rupes is long gone but the bitterness is still there -
only one absent from the FL Chairmans meeting

Great post... Unfortunately the class warriors, little people and attention seeking whore's, all found a voice during the Lowe Out era and became 'someone,' at least amongst their peers....The Club's perceived issue's gave them something to live for.......don't expect them to 'let go' any time soon... What we're seeing now is the result of the liberal dose of **** Roach powder NC has spread around St Mary's.....He's flushing them out one by one and flushing them down the sewer where they belong.......no wonder they think it's something sinister -

From what i can see the majority of Saints fans don't have much of a problem with the new regime...It seems to me, it's just the same old faces who feel the Club should be at their beck'n call, have now been put back in their place and are getting all bent up over it... This is starting to get like the Lowe saga all over again......Carry on chaps, i know who's going to win this time round
-
I'm liking the look of this.....The Club are finally putting the rabble rousers in their place...long time overdue, but better late than never. Peeps.....there are ways and means to deal with greivences with any private company...and it usually involves dealing directly with the company in private.......Trade Union style pitch fork rabble rousing will get your bank account closed if you were to try it with your bank and it would get you banned from Tesco if you were to try it there...Southampton Football Club is no different....Just because it's football is no excuse..... Seems the Echo is starting to learn just how many privileges the Club used to allow them also...shame they felt the need to abuse them at every opportunity I'm liking NC more and more....

Lockerbie bomber could live for another 10 years
Saint George replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
As EastleighSoulBoy says........."one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"...and although i don't agree with the actions of some 'Irish Americans' i can at least understand why they went to aid their relatives back in Ireland...all be it misguidedly...Many have parents and grandparents who left Ireland for the land of the free after falling victim to British aggression and have never forgotten..... I still don't think that was justification for Blair to capitulate to the IRA and then release all their terrorists from prison.....and the Oil for a Terrorist saga just leaves an even bigger dirty stain. Like i said, he has a track record of capitulation......Wasn't he still in charge when the British army lost control of Basra and were humiliatingly forced to withdraw to the airport...and then the Americans had to go in and get the job done?...Or had the other lefty dead weight taken over by then? And that's not a slight on the British troops...just their political leaders who would not give them what they needed to do the job.... -
"Since coming out of administration the new owners have recently decided to scrap the informal consultation system introduced by Rupert Lowe through which the Chairman as the trusts club liaison officer had informal discussions with members of the clubs management team - and has rejected the plan suggested by the trust in regard to the adoption of a continental supporters association model. The trust will be taking measures to try and establish a new formal liaison structure with the club and will establish its own independent policies and strategies necessary to achieve its constitutional objectives. Sound more like a statement from a Trade Union, just prior to dragging everyone out on strike.....Hopefully NC will put them on their bike and Saints fans will be able to see this shower for what it is How the hell this bunch can call them selves the "Saints Trust" when they no longer own any shares or have 'any' connection to the Club is beyond me.....If they had anything about them they would have done the right thing and dissolved the organization a week or so after Saints fell into private hands
-
Well you probably won't have to worry about it for much longer because unless Call me Dave manages to turn things around a bit sharpish, they're all going to be heading over here to the land of the free with their money, where the'll be made very welcome, or over to Asia........and who can blame them?

But i thought BP was an "international" company?.....Well at least according to the howls of derision when anyone happened to mention BP, Oil Spill and British Company, all in the same sentence.... especially if it also included "incompetence" But that aside...i personally, would draw the line when it came to releasing terrorist's...But i guess Blair had plenty of practice at that, what with releasing so many from the IRA.....so no surprise there -

Bit by bit the story is starting to unfold Here's one for all you lefties out there.........Blairs Petrolum "BP's boss flew to Tripoli in the company of MI6 agents" -
more peeps should take note of this guy.......Put a finger up to the left wing benefits and victim mentality and went out and made it happen http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1297107/Please-job-Unemployed-man-bags-job-spot-standing-rain-hours-sign.html Fair play to the lad

Government Oil spill Commission......Cajun style And sum's up the situation around these parts pretty well
-
Although 'Call me Dave' is a huge improvement over the Blair/Brown debacle.....There's no excuse for such a **** up.....I've always felt there was a tad too much 'Tony' in him, and this is a classic case of that Blairite shallowness shining through. No surprise that traits like shallowness etc, should come to the fore while rubbing shoulders with the 'anointed one' (ex? )
-
Really? 1000% increase over 2 years, sounds like fantastic buying power to me "One company boss said the NHS ‘doesn’t care what it costs"
-
Same thing ....most 'evil' profit making drug companies make both. But maybe in the same spirit of the NHS, they should be banned in the UK and a 'National Peoples Drug Company' formed to research, develop, manufacture and distribute the entire drug requirements for the National peoples Health Service......After all it would be so much more efficient and effective than those evil 'for profit' private companies....I can see it now..all those Austin Allegro type cutting edge drugs pushing the boundaries of research and development....all at a bargain price The rest of the world will be banging at the door trying to place orders for the latest and greatest products.

ooooops......now you done it
