Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)
Saint George replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Lounge
Nothing could stop the Earths changes in climate before and nothing will stop it changing again......You can continue to **** countless billions up the wall trying to be 'King Canute' with the same result, 'Or' start learning to adapt to the inevitable. -
Sadly, the two tier system and somewhat lax moderation on this forum has led to this place being top heavy with No Life misfits, with very little grasp on any kind of perspective....Most normal level headed peeps have since moved on, or have just given up.......But hey, the misfits all pay their fivers, right?
-
You must be having a laugh here....MP would be run out of town if he dared do that...Nope!...He has to play the best 11 deemed by saints fans for every game....sprains, torn ligaments and broken legs included!
-
I'll happily take that trade, if it means we never play in stripes again
-
You should try brushing up on your reading comprehension......Did I say all peeps who pay a fiver are addicts?.....No.....Strange that you read it that way......Maybe my post hit a little too close to home for you?
-
The two tiered system changed this forum......Most normal level headed Saints fans are not going to pay 5 quid to post on a internet forum and are therefore restricted in their contribution.....Where as internet addicts will happily pay to feed their addiction......The result is what we see here....a forum top heavy and somewhat polluted with internet addicts. The ignore function is a waste of space until the quotes from peeps on ignore are blocked as well
-
Indeed...even Fox Sports here in the US were heaping praise on the Saints fans that made the trip....

Do you agree that Lambert and Lallana missed one yard sitters and Guly was on side?
-
Are you saying Lambert and Lallana didn't miss one yard sitters?.....and Guly was offside when he broke though their defense?
-
So here's a different perspective for the bedwetters to chew on when they finally dry their eyes (congrats on winning the bedwetting final by the way...surpassed all previous attempts by a county mile) Saints had 'three' stonewall goals today f*cked up by two of our most highly rated players and one so called neutral....Lallana missed a one yard sitter...Lambert missed a one yard sitter and Gully got him self one on one with their goalkeeper when he was ruled offside, when he was clearly onside by a country mile......Not our best day at the office for sure...but on another day that game would have been 1-3... As for calling for Potchettino's head....I've never heard of anything so pathetic in 40+ years of following the sport....words totally fail me.....This has truly been a memorable day.......Shame on you!
-
I would swap Jrod for Guly at home......I reckon Guly would be far more clinical in the area's we tend to move the ball.....Where as Jrod is good at exploiting the space we get on the road...his instinctive finishing in and around the box is not up to par There, I've said it.....

We used to sing it back in the 70's We're on the march with Lawries army, We're gunna win the football league, And we'll really shake 'em up, when we lift the FA Cup, Coz Southampton are greatest football team.
-
Why are we not running at defences like we used to?
Saint George replied to Crispypie's topic in The Saints
Possession is the first line of defense. While we have the ball our opponent can't score.....If our opponent can't score we can't lose. While we have the ball, we can create more chances. If our opponent cant score we only need to make one chance stick. If we have the ball more, our players get to take a breather between the hard pressing when we don't. Makes perfect sense to me. -

Saints long term deal with adidas to be terminated?
Saint George replied to doggface's topic in The Saints
Put me down for another **** the stripes. Have never liked them and never will....Love the bright solid red we play in now, it's really representative of the modern Saints and what we 'are'....rather than what we 'were' And make the monotone crest the official club crest while we're at it too.....First time I've ever seen it look decent. -
Well that was close! Sorry Rut...I feel for ya
-
But the Guardian said it has...So they got that wrong?

Well that turned out well......Yet another disgusting waste of tax payers money ****ed away on another hopeless liberal agenda. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/10/31/bankrupt-solar-panel-firm-took-stimulus-money-left-toxic-mess-says-report/ http://money.cnn.com/2011/09/22/technology/solyndra/ http://money.cnn.com/2013/03/21/news/suntech-solar-bankruptcy/ BTW...its good to see the word "adapt" creeping into the vocabulary of a few of the alarmist's on here....That's a healthy change from the previous rhetoric of 'controlling nature' to suite our needs'. I recon the penny's starting to drop with a few....According to the alarmist's the climate we've had over the last 15 - 19 years was never supposed to happen...peeps with any sense should at this point now be sitting up and asking a few more questions, which will take some doing for some. Discovering the 'inconvenient truth was in fact nothing more than a multi billion dollar scamming lie will be a bit like the day they found out Father Christmas didn't really exist.....But we all have to face reality one day. Nature will still be here way after we're gone and until the sun farts or dies the best we can do is exactly that..."adapt" -
So are you saying the floods have nothing to do with Man Made Global Warming like the Guardian had reported?......hmmm...interesting http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2013/sep/26/somerset-climate-change-uk

Meanwhile New Orleans has ground to a halt due to the cold weather....No schools, no garbage collection, Interstate and other roads closed just about everything shut down......My house is 80 years old and has never had insulated water pipes in the attic or crawl space because it's never been necessary ......Hell it hasn't been this cold here since 1970, 1949 and 1923....Al Gore said it would never happen again...lying bastard -

LOl...and they release the new 'no warming' models on Christmas eve...talk about trying to hide bad news.......To think peeps still fall for this crap -
To me CB Fry and Kraken don't seem to understand the fact that a company in administration legally can not trade in debt...Basically the day the cash runs out is the day it goes into liquidation......The number of 'interested' parties waiting in the wings or other fund raising options were irrelevant. The money and consequently 'time' had been drained during the Tissier/Pinnical exclusivity period, there was nothing left...Had Marcus not put some cash on the table that week, we would have been Liquidated end of.
-
hmmm...So I'm guessing this could be one of the things that pushed Cortese over the edge....wonder what else has been going on behind the scenes

The alarmist claimed "The debate is over".....yup in just a couple of decades of spotty research and a few dodgy models they claimed the debate over. The IPCC took that on board and Governments around the world have subsequently implemented policies based on that very statement.....Now you pay the price like it or not, right or wrong...."The debate is over" Well I have 2 words for that......F*ck You!!!! (not you guys personally) -
Le Tissier was due to be installed as chairman at St Mary's but, having seen their 21-day exclusivity period expire earlier this month, the Pinnacle group followed a consortium fronted by the businessman Marc Jackson in withdrawing its interest today "It is with great regret and frustration due to ongoing issues with the Football League that I and in turn those behind the Pinnacle consortium decided to withdraw our interest in purchasing Southampton Football Club," said Le Tissier. "With the ongoing issues with the Football League persisting, our backers have simply refused to provide the requisite funds to complete the takeover Agenda much?......After this debacle that had Le Tissier holding what was very nearly the final nail....I recon he should STFU and stick to what he knows... Interesting to note that Cortese didn't have the same problems with the Football League that according to Le Tissier scuppered his deal.....Just another example of Cortese getting it done where others have failed I guess. Maybe Le Tissier is angling for another shot at CEO
