I didnt realise he had been converted so much from the dark side. Good to hear.

I'm married to a red. Needless to say THAT game against them the peace was being tested 😧

Stream posted just before the match seems to have died. Not sure if that's a blessing or not. Anyone got another... I'm a glutton for punishment.

I can sniff an equaliser here people... Unlikely but it's coming.

Hmm. Wasted my nuns by looks of it.

They have defended resolutely. Dawson marshalled them superbly at the back. You have to factor the opposition, it's not just Saints being poor.

We haven't laid a glove on West Ham this half. Not too sure if its fatigue but the passing is so slow and predictable atm. However, we always knew our form would dip at some point. Great thing is it can return ad quickly as it has left us.

Difficult half. First 15 we seemed hesitant. I liked the fact we kept to the basics as the new additions got up to speed. After 25-30 minutes I felt Saints finally got some control of the ball but lacking in the final third. Fulham working hard to deny the space and our passing not accurate or particularly quick either. Fulham have looked bright on the break with a couple of dangerous crosses and positions. I think Ralph needs to get them to refocus and sharpen up the passing.

They are rarely wrong so sounds about right to me. We can fight it out with Everton, Wolves and Villa? for the 'best of the rest' title. Beating Everton again would be a small victory in itself given the budgets of both clubs.

I reckon I'll get on the booze early in anticipation of this prognosis 😂

Ah the Nelly, is it still going?? I used to go in there, The Drummond, Malt & Hops. Last time I was down there (exiled up north) the Drummond was now flats?

And that is a rare thing indeed. We always moan when the player has all the power and the club are being shafted by greedy agents. Saints are playing a cagey game it seems and whilst I admire Ryan and agree he's mainly been an excellent pro for the club, I'm convinced the offer won't be derisory relatively speaking of course. At the end of the day, he either signs up or he doesn't. We're such a transient club when it comes to players I can fully live with him wanting to go elsewhere. Saints will move on, possibly not with better than Ryan initially but that's the way it goes sometimes. I'm far more content with this kind of situation than I am by the aforementioned greedy agents using Saints to grab more cash by engineering a move away to a so-called top six club.

Gah! Stood up from the couch at 75 mins. I felt we were worthy of a point. Sadly, lacking the quality without Ings. Beaten by a bit of quality which these top 6 teams have of course. Unlucky saints. Hope Ings isn't too bad. He seemed to be suggesting it wasnt anything too bad when walking down the tunnel.

Nevermind loss of form, loss of fitness too. Even these elites will have some regression in full fitness potential, possibly even more so. I was marathon fit two weeks ago but my race ended up in Tier 2 so couldn't compete. I was on for 2.55 ish having trained well all autumn. Just two down weeks since and I can feel a lot of the sharp-end fitness draining away. Ings will be fine given another week or two to get back his sharpness.

That's the way I saw it too. Arteta shut his team down once the sending off happened. Without that we may well have lost as their confidence returned a little and Saka was single-handedly driving them up the pitch. A point gained IMO considering Saints looked a little jaded I thought and Arsenal were never going to get beat 5 in a row at home.

Never get a better chance now

Defo feels that way. If we could get our second wind.

Better since their goal. Come on Saints. These arent playing well at all.

Sick of the narrative Tildesley has been peddling all match, woest Arsenal blah blah blah. We need to get going again. Anyone else think we look tired all of a sudden??
-
Looked like he can become a handful. He's got great peers to learn from. The best striker prospect I've seen from Saints system in a while for sure.

I will always think of the I.T. Crowd when I think of Walcott.

Theo has always been this frustrating hasn't he.
