I would have thought this kind of role would be perfect for AI tbh. I remember seeing footage of the analysis department when Roadsea was first redeveloped and they were showing off the black box etc. Two or three programmers is all we need, sack all these football manager players they've hired

+1 for the Killers tune.. Their singer has been stealing a living for years with his out of tune live vocals. Should be ****** easy for the Northern choir

As title, not sure if many know about this charity game today at Claypits sports centre in Hythe. My brother plays for H&D and has helped put this together. Ex saints due to turn out: Text sent by Glenn Cockerill TISS, YOURS TRULY, JO TESSEM, MARK BLAKE, DAVID HUGHES, DAVE PEACH, GREG LLEWELLYN, WAYNE SHAW, NICKY BANGER, MARTIN THOMAS, BARRY BLANKLEY, POSSIBLE’ JASON DODD AND JAMES BEATTIE, ??⚽?? ALSO HOPING TO HAVE A FEW NON PLAYING EX-SAINTS COMING TO SUPPORT WHICH WILL BE GREAT ??⚽?? Get there early as it's going to be rammed. Should be a good day

I live a stone's throw from the Etihad... Can't usually hear a thing when they have the concerts there. Metallica here in a couple of weeks... I predict even they won't be that loud... Live music just ain't what it used to be... Part of the buzz was feeling it shake your body... Ears ringing for days afterwards! God bless Lemmy

Yes Franny! Just broken the £900k barrier too. There will be huge support on the marathon, especially with Let Tiss running it with him. Wish I lived closer.
-
Yeah terrible shame for him to be pulled out again. This challenge has been a step too far. Sadly, his age is now against him in terms of recovery. He's as tough as nails and could easily do this challenge with the right amount of rest and recovery, but back to back on almost zero rest (I heard 4 hours sleep) is not enough. Although he won't be doing this at sub-maximal performance he is still accumulating fatigue at a very high level. Brilliant that his team are carrying on and I hope he can recover enough to complete the challenge tomorrow. One tough bloke that's for sure.

Yeah, just found a tweet of someone who is running with him tonight, about 10 miles to go!!
-
Latest tweet says he's still going no? Incredible feat of human endurance. You lose on average 1.5cm of height caused by spine shortening due to compression during a marathon. Crazy stuff he's putting his body through.
-
The man is a legend and a bloody fit bloke for 50. I've never done a triathlon but have run plenty of marathons so know this won't be easy. Then there are c*nts like Beckham emailing people asking what he has to do to get a knighthood... Still irks me that one. Good luck Franny, I shall donate to the cause once again.

Since the ManU speculation things have gone spectacular wrong for Spurs/Poch. The injuries, out of League cup, going out of FA Cup as it stands... Wrong thread I know but still. I am enjoying this. Palace will be difficult for sure Cabbage.
-
Palace look rapid and direct on the break. Should be a good game midweek.

Oh and I'm optimistic about today's game which is completely out of character as I'm glass half full normally. As others have mentioned it's a free hit. Let's get stuck in and see if the rub of the green will go our way today.

Quoting your post Derry as one or two have missed RH comments post match against the Hammers. Interesting stuff and thanks for paraphrasing. I personally like the fact he's seeing the same faults we are and maybe commenting in public will get a backlash from some players, but to be honest, if they have the wrong attitude then so be it.

F*cking hell the helmets certainly come out in force when things don't go well on here.... Some terrible posting tonight.

Can't keep the ball. West Ham look far more powerful and mainly winning the 50-50s currently.

With regards to the assertion made that bottom-dwelling teams rarely improve over the second half of the season.... I refer you to Saints in the 90s - who regularly had to produce championship winning form to remain in the devision. Indeed, I used to joke that we didn't actually start playing until after Christmas! The above my be an impression embellished by the passing of time... But it certainly felt that way back then.
-
I would have thought ...and Saints win away would replace ....you gave it away... for starters.

Following on here... Keep up the good work fellas... COYR

Duuno if I believe the notion that players are unhappy after a couple of sessions. On a wider point regarding professional athletes... Footballers really do seem to be the laziest bunch of prima Donnas ever to walk the face of the earth. If I can work an 8 hour day bookended by a 90 minute commute either side and still get out for 10 mile/70 minute runs in the evening then these miserable f*ckwitts can surely do double sessions!!
-
I think he meant followed through... Bloody predictive text. Poor sod couldn't get to one of his three toilets in time.

Excited by thread title. Tempered somewhat by MLG's pedentry. Then discover it's a club-mouthpiece leak. Close thread I guess.

Halcyon days of the forum as has been said already. Was his yacht ever moored up in Southampton?? I have a vague memory of a photo of it. Haha, the hours we've all invested.

Oh when the saints.... Go marchin' in!!!!!! You red and white f**king machine!!!! +1 for saucy nuns second half
