If I'm in a room with that lot I'm probably shooting myself twice.

Didn't we play that under Martin last season though? And we conceded 60+ goals in the Championship with the same defenders.

We scored 87 goals last season (5 less than Ipswich in top) with the largest number of created chances and second best XG, in a league we were expected to dominate. Stop talking rubbish - he'll probably do very well at Rangers.

Yep, did it a lot in our relegation season. This season I've done it a few times, but the odds are so bad as the bookies reckon we'll lose even when we go ahead.

Definitely, yes, may have made us competitive with Ipswich and Leicester if we had. To stay up though we are nowhere near. 6 to 8 players, probably £25-30m each and we may have been close. But if we only had 6 that would still leave us very short in some areas.

But we also knew we couldn't spend big due to PSR...

I'm surprised we've seen 5 wins considering the players over that span. And I got criticised for saying I didn't really want promotion last season as we weren't ready 🤣🤣🤣

None of them were coming here previously either. Anyone that is any good can look at this team and know they have absolutely no chance - which they did.

Really? If they do they don't understand football. Entitled to their opinions of course, but so are a lot of clueless people.

I don't think many Saints fans would argue that Stephens and Bednarek are the best in any division - and I don't think KWP is any good defensively either.

Check those facts then - prove me wrong. My guess is you won't, as you can't.
