It was a genuine question. I've watched/enjoyed football my entire life, but never really sat and considered things such as the difference between a single pivot and a double pivot in a 433 and 4231 formation. To best honest, I don't really know what it means, and I'm not really that interested in finding out. Then again, I've never really be "involved" with football since playing at about u13 level.

Do people who analyse football like this get any enjoyment from it. I just like it when they score good goals and stuff. Sometimes enjoy a crunching tackle too.

Back on topic, I agree the new Soccer Saturday cast is pretty awful. I'd far rather just search scores on my phone if needed. Can't stand Carragher. Don't mind Neville too much though. Other presenters are all a bit meh. The new MoTD presenters cast is pretty solid IMO. Now sure how I feel about Rooney as a permanent pundit, but sure he'll grow in to it.
