  1. Probably not as bad as Covent Garden 1991 v the skates. It was very unfriendly for the blue few.
  2. Just like 1984 when through with only Shilts to beat.
  3. Obvious as I predicted that he’d never be able to ‘hang up his keyboard’. Sympathies with any of the locals in the Lowford pubs John hasn’t been banned from. I would say Bursledon but that’s not really staggering distance these days for the old soak.
  4. It was, but alone his lack of judgement of seeing Gavin Bazunu in pre-season and thinking he’d be ok for a team chasing top 2/6 and then binning him as quickly as Gavin’s disaster at Hull was part of the issue. Tonda did initially make the mistake of going with him but pretty quickly and clearly said to Spors ‘this guy is a total Rasmus Ankersen joke, get me a more solid keeper on loan in January because Alex is middle aged as an alternative. Get the twat (Bazunu) gone’. It’s tricky in a new job but decrying his keeping options after Ramsdale went to Newcastle was the experienced manager thing to do. As others have identified, starting Ross Stewart 3 times in a week with his injury history when he found form was brainless. It’s a mystery that the right back at Brentford came here highly regarded but looked like Steve Baker under Still. Jelert is a tart and James Bree was loaned out, but has pissed all over these two since he came back.
  5. In terms of supermarket bread, pittas only tend to have a couple of ingredients if you want them for sandwiches and filling.
  6. Did you see that article about Cradley Heath in the Black Country? Convenience stores selling BBC reporters coke for £90.
  7. Sourdough relatively easy to make, and trendy so big mark up, hence a lot of the Cotswold stone towns have got bakeries springing up making it. Moreton in particular has a lot of bakeries for a small town. Our local bakers is a lot more traditional and I like that. Focuses on white/granary farmhouse loaves, they do have sourdoughs but it’s not a trashy staple. No additives, preservatives or other such crap. Does mean freezing and defrosting in summer but small price to pay.
  8. Then again, based on other Wolves fan behaviours, probably not surprising. AA would be advised not to miss any sitters from 5 yards up there
  9. Without turning into MLG, it’s good years of health declining by 2 years rather than actual life expectancy per se. Still significant and not downplaying it though, plus the extra strain it places on public health resources.
  10. They’re good for dietary requirements (I’m lactose intolerant and Mrs GS is GF) and with the guest ales they’re a decent option for us.
  11. I’m still on iPhone 7 - it works!
  12. No book depositories these days and no grassy knolls indoors.
  13. Lad just did his ACL - unless there was a prior incident during the match, the Wolves fans calling him a wanker and a shit cunt seems needless and rather unpleasant
  14. Echoing Willo, it’ll be the only thing he’s actually made clean contact with in the last 4 wretched years with his hands/wrists. It certainly wasn’t the case with Millwall’s second goal which was pure hologram.
  15. Multiple choice: - Failed war - Epstein Files - Failed economy and tariffs - His imminent hammering at the mid-terms
  16. That’s every single day for John though tbf.
  17. Like the handicap system in golf - City have Bazunu back in goal to compensate for the ludicrous cost of their squad.
  18. A warm day ideal for very heavy drinking, clearly. Especially in the Lowford area and if your liver looks like Anne Widecombe.
  19. More of this from Reform and Green Party uncovered at the weekend in Sheffield during campaigning where both parties are being antisemetic quite openly https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy012knxk3lo Fucking horrendous and pure 1930s populism. Far right and Corbynites no doubt expelled from Tories and Labour. They’re welcome to each other. The people voting need to seriously give their head a wobble however shit the current and previous government was. Voting for racists has no excuse.
  20. Lighthouse will be getting excited.
  21. Proud of Tonda and the lads. Beaten Arsenal and took City to the brink. Win those play offs now.
  22. Two further examples of why I can’t stand America these days. I’d rather deal with China in all honesty. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62lp853214o https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj40r2gw24wo
  23. Can’t be a Saints fan surely? Eastleigh has some skates so let’s blame it on them. Agent Lowe etc.
  24. Their vetting is still not working. That’s seriously Neo Nazi even for Reform. Mind you, it is Devon https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g51jl2zzno
