It's not even for an upgrade that I want promotion now it looks close. I really don't fancy the PL. Far fewer games for a start, and constantly messed about by TV and other clubs' european games. Plus bloody VAR. But it's more that if we don't go up, we'll probably lose some of our best players. And gradually go into decline to become a mid-table so-so club. What's better .... a so-so championship club or a yo-yo PL/championship one? π

And his near-miss bicycle kick was bloody impressive too.

Lived in Manchester for a while many years ago. In those days , with city very much second best to united , their fans were genuine fans and nearly all local. Whereas at old Trafford you could see lots of ' home' fans coaches from Surrey etc. In the early days of their success I was actually quite pleased for the long-suffering city fans I used to work with. But nowadays they're swamped by the plastics. Summed up by the couple in city colours who came in on our tube carriage from where they lived in Central London, who I suspect had never been to Manchester.

Wearing my Friends Provident yellow shirt from the 2003 Cardiff final. Normally only wear for finals π but making an exception today.

Body paint? π

Seems it's a good job I didn't buy one then! π

Looked yellow to me tbh. Sure it's not you that's colour blind? π The club has really missed out on sales of yellow stuff. The shop near the footbridge sold out of adult shirts some time ago. It's a shame that so many of us are giving money to other, dodgy, sellers.

Don't think you'll be alone mush π

Neuter! Bit harsh, even if he is dirty sod π
-
Depends how interested they are in sailing ship terminology. π Got sod all to do with football as far as someone brought up in the 1960s is concerned .

I don't normally complain about refs (apart from during the match!) but he was a shocker. Totally inconsistent. Warned some players, booked others, was fussy about some things but not others. Came across as someone who wanted to impose an authority he just hadn't got.

Someone please remind me what the loan deal actually was. I recall there was a supposed fee of 8 million euros mentioned when he signed, but I'm not clear whether we have a straightforward option to buy, or whether Bayern can just take him back and start bargaining , or ......?
-
Ignore this, unless you are also having difficulty. Eventually realised that the link in the email telling you you can buy, takes you directly to your own seats. My mistake was going into the saints ticket app to attempt to buy.
-
Has anyone worked out how to get your own ST seats ? I keep only seeing 'free', non-ST seats or automatic selection which gives me random ones anywhere.

I remember Delgado's video too! π
-
Might be an argument that he went down easily but there was definitely contact... No way a booking for diving

So no Armstrong or Archer Hmmmm

Will someone please post that picture of Westwood and the pompey 'bandstand' so I can send it to a friend who was asking why we don't get on!

But what about the Horlicks and cocoa? π

His wages are more significant than any. transfer fee. Supposedly on Β£120k a week.
-
Are there any actual transfer rumours, as opposed to fans' wish lists?

Surely Jelert is still injured?
