A lot of long-term season ticket holders will be really upset about having to move seats. Many of us have been sitting near the same group of other fans for years. Putting away fans in the current family stand will mean those fans that like to sit near away fans will move into the Kingsland and the Chapel, and completely change the nature of those areas, as well as disrupting the family stand itself. St Mary's *was* set up for a whole home end .....The Chapel... but fans chose to go to the Northam to be by the away fans.

Looks like Forest and Everton again!) are at risk of being charged with breaching the rules soon. And Wolves are supposedly sailing close to the wind too. Plus side is it now stops filthy rich buyer spending huge sums beyond the club's income. Minus side, it was introduced too late to easily stop eg Chelsea and Man City doing that. So those clubs that have bought success have effectively drawn up the ladder behind them, to stop others doing the same. Of course City are facing charges but delaying everything.

Never mind Martin's reaction to Sunak's visit..... we were pissed off because the car parks and roads next to the stadium were closed off for half an hour for him to leave. All the roads, because no one told the stewards which route he was taking. There were some fairly strong 'political' comments made in the queue of cars near us! '😉 Not had this delay when he's been before.

In a dream window we'd sign Downes and Harwood-Bellis permanently, keep KWP, and sign a striker to replace Adams who seems to have completely lost form (since the summer window closed 😉) And Stewart would finally be fully fit. But in reality we'll probably send a few youngsters out on loan, sell Adams and do little else, after lots of scares about KWP and Bazunu.

Yes what did happen? The tv only showed after it had started. Hope there's no danger of the league or FA investigating ...... a fine for "not controlling our players", or worse, a suspension for someone for "bringing game into disrepute"

One of my favourite saints memories is playing Leeds at home , I think soon after we'd been promoted to championship from L1. We went 3 nil up and the Leeds fans started chanting "what the f uck is going on?" You never know ....... 😉

Just stop the suicidal reoeatedly playing it short in defence until someone makes a mistake and gives the opposition a scoring chance. It seems that we do this because it's fashionable.... Man City do it etc... but we haven't got the players City have.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. It's desperation isn't it really? We all want everything to be better once X , or Y, is back. Downes is worth his place though, preferably alongside Charles.

There's also a huge hole at captain..... another aspect of JWP's game that some on here criticised. It was really noticeable in the last 2 home games how no one was really pulling the team together, to rally and fight back. I've nothing against AA but he doesn't seem a captain to me. In fact the most vocal player seemed to be young Harwood-Bellis. It's also noticeable how JWP is quite vocal in the bits of West Ham games that I've seen on TV.

Can't he just wait for one of the opposing players to pass it straight to him near the penalty area, like our players do with the opposition ?

You need to come and sit with us old codgers in the Kingsland. We've seen it all before. Besides, shouting abuse at our own players might risk spilling my thermos flask. 😉

Got to feel sorry for Charles, but iit's good to actually have serious competition for places. Nowadays of course it's a 11-16 man game not just 11. Expect we'll see quite a few subs.
