I'd be gobsmacked if he isn't already 'volunteering' at the club before he starts officially as an employee.
-
Thought he played well against Chelsea, and tbf surprisingly well as a CB for Jones, but for most of the season he's been mediocre. KWP is our best RB, imprtant as an attacker.
-
Orsic didn't look much when he played but Edozie not on the bench seems odd. Caletta-Carr God knows what's going on!
-
So if it Marsch and it's agreed, when will he be announced? Soon, or after we've lost at Chelsea so he can have a clean slate start?
-
Underwhelmed tbh, but ok, give him a chance. As long as he wins a few games, won't blame him if we are relegated. And if the keeps us up, I will be very 'whelmed' ! Not going to complain too much about his team choices either. He's bound to experiment a few times with a squad that's new to him.

Just had stewards on the gate trying to stop me bringing in a flask of coffee. I've been bringing a flask to the Dell and St Mary's for c30 years with no problem. The club really tries to piss fans off doesn't it?!

Well we had a better window than Everton!

That'll teach Perraud to score! 😉 -
Totally agree. I want to talk to those around me. Many of them are ST holders like me, so we've got to know each other over the years. What I don't want is to be deafened by inane rubbish over the P A. --- much happier creating my own 😉 It's a football match, not a bloody night club.

Seems to be completely right-footed. At this level you expect players to be two-footed
-
True, but given 30,000 or so fans have been saying that for nearly 2 years .....
-
The weird thing about che is that he's OK if he doesn't have time to think. His quick turn and shoot from close in yesterday was good, with a top save by Pope . But his 1 on 1 from a distance.........😱
-
I'd rather have seen Tells coming back. For gods sake SR, buy a striker!
-
A lot of these players we've been linked with look good, even exciting, but the priority is, and has been all season, to sign a striker with a proven record as a goal scorer. Surely that's where we should be spending whatever we can scrape together-- then see what else se we can afford?
-
But if, as article says, a factor in that is that he's just had a new house built near Villa, that would imply he'd also not be keen to come back here.
-
Who's playing left back or left wing back?
-
He's had a really good game
-
Credit to djenepo for having the nerve to take that shot
-
I know we have injuries at present but we already have 2 of the best RBs in the league. Our priority surely has to be a striker, above anything else? Why on earth haven't we signed one?
-
Apparently to play music so loud that in the kingsland at least it was impossible to talk to the people round you. And then the pointless light show and music drowned out any pre-match crowd atmosphere. Even the clapping along with the saints band was cut off almost before it started. I go to a football match to watch football personally, not artificial pre match entertainment.
-
Getting a sense of deja vu . I spent most of thr summer transfer window logging on here every day hoping to see we were in the process of signing a striker -- but it never happened And here we are again.
-
9 million what I wonder? Pounds, euros or Brazilian Reals? Surely one for the future if rumour is true , which is fine , but what we need is a first choice striker now.
-
Saw 2 quiet Chinese- looking fans led out from the kingsland just before kick off because one of them had a jacket that had a small 'emirates stadium' logo. Had a lad near me who hardly moved all match --- didn't react when either side scored. Presume he was an Arse, but apart from being the only person sitting down when we all jumped up as Armstrong scored, he did nothing to attract attention. What's the harm if he/they keep their heads down and cause no problem?
-
Any chance we're waiting on an international manager who'll be available after thr would cup?
-
Nowadays a game like this is like Liverpool playing Tranmere, or Man u playing Stockport. Surprised it's got so much interest.
