I'm also in the no music camp - or at least very little music. When I go to football I want to talk to the other regular supporters around me, not try to work out what they saying by mime! And crowds geberate their own atmosphere. The music actually stops the singing building up before a match.

Not received ours, nor for parking. The club's cutting it a bit fine for the Burnley game if none have been posted. It must take a FW days to sort out. Have others of you received yours yet?

Reports said he was leaving arsenal because he wouldn't take a pay cut from £120,000 a week to a mere £100,000 a week, for a new contract (presumably they wanted him to take a cut because he's injured so often ) so I suspect he's out of our pay range

I see Wikipedia says he's 182 cm, which is a massive 27/32 of an inch taller than the 5 ' 11" we'd been led to believe. All he needs is some long studs and he'll be as good as 6 foot!

I still think he'll come good. Sobe on here seem to have forgotten how promising he looked when he came on several times as a sub for Lambert years ago. He's big string and fast, and has shown he has a good shot.

Dont like the sound of a buy back clause. Makes it a bit like a loan with City in a win win situation. If he fails they got a good price. If he is a star they get him back for relative peanuts. Anyway, it seems a bit odd for us to be getting a £15 million keeper now that McCarthy has signed a new contract.

I agree, but am a bit worried that he'll feel that playing for us has cost him his England place, and that a move might put him higher up the international pecking order. He's not that old after all and could reasonably have expected to be England LB for a few years yet

The question for me is why does Tadic , apparently, want to go to Ajax? In one sense they're a massive club, but I doubt they have the financial clout to pay premier league wages, and if saints supposedly offered him a good new deal, money can't be it. does he not like Hughes? does he want to play in Europe ? ( though Ajax never get far nowadays) does he want his kids to go up in Europe rather than post Brexit UK? does he particularly like Holland? ?

I've already renewed, but much of what you say resonates. It's the dominance of TV that's caused the problems. We 'real' fans are treated like **** in favour of the armchair fan. And the money has corrupted just about everyone invilved in the game.
