Really? How bizzare. Never had that done to me in any address I have ever lived in! That would really annoy me. Ive seen modern x-ray scanners used to filter dodgy post, food scanning and so on, and they wouldnt flag up a dvd! These letter bombs are a bit OTT. So now we have extremism in football, religion doing its dirty work in the beautiful game. The Irish really need to get over themselves, and there stupid relgious differences, its utterly ridiculous - this is supposed to be a 1st world, educated nation, and theyre (violent minority) trying to blow up bloody policemen and footy managers! Always worried a bit about the blatantly easy terror target that is football stadiums.

Good work ROO. As it is looking unlikely that this will become a reality this season, due to time and resource constraints, why not do something a little easier? How about every one prints off a few of these (if ROO uploads an A4 vector), and take them to the game, as a small but noticable mark of respect. As we see with 'red card' campaigns (to remove chairmen) and the mancs green and gold campaign, and also our occasional wall of red and white stripes at SMS, the more people do it, the more effect it has. A few thousand ML posters waving around to 'Glory Glory Markus Leibherr' would look alright. Then we could all club together and get a decent flag, concourse memorial, exterior stadium murals sorted for next season when there is less pressure on organisers, contributors and supporters. Perhaps on the 62nd minute, or 18:85, or whenever the Northam decides to get things going! Boxes/reams of paper cost very little (compared to £££K's for flags!) if somebody were to attempt a massive print job. That is merely a suggestion and I mean absolutely no offence to anyone who has been researching and making enquiries. If someone (Justmike!) is going ahead with a flag, I will gladly contrinute! GGML! -
on a lighter note, it looks like cotters may have been wrong about the global conspiracy unfolding within his NPC premium XI, the FA might do em for £50k. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/pompey_face_probe_over_card_pile_up_1_2606707 "If a club cannot then provide a reasonable explanation for their record, they will be either warned or fined up to £50,000." Oh noes stevo, tell you what, just play back your recording from saturday, 'im a bit suspicious'... The best paid XI didnt even get a mention in the NPC best XI this year, which is strange considering the quality over quantity approach. When you are outbidding the league leaders (and 2rd richest club in the land), you would think you are buying top quality: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/pompey_stars_miss_out_on_pfa_recognition_1_2606757 Fancy seeing the JPT skates?: http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Lift-The-Football-League-Trophy-2104.aspx If they can stay out of liquidation, they might get a shot at it, on the slide out of the FL. Fear not people, the skates will not make the same mistakes again, or will they? http://www.fansonline.net/pompey-fans/article.php?id=296 the article features one of storries all time classic statements, "the ultimate betrayl". what an absolute classic peter, you, accusing somebody else, of "the ultimate betrayl" Will the pompey virtual alliance and the PST come out and expose the ruskies for what they are? or will they get down on their knees and stick they tongues out for the happy ending the money launderers are going to get.

http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Online-Auction-More-Great-Items-Up-For-Grabs-2108.aspx “We are so appreciative of the help Steve Allen, Mark Storey and everyone at the club are giving us.” With absolute sincerity, I hope this does not turn into another shameful performance by pompey. bringing terminally ill kids onto the pitch, presenting them with a giant cheque, only to never actually pay the charity is surely the most despicable act ever witnessed within English football.

Very interesting (if true)! I wonder whether SFC could monetise the roof at SMS? Lots of flybe jets going over it everyday, although probably nowhere near as much as in London/Heatrow flight paths... Oh, and im going in the home end!

The Tory elite know better of course! Viva la revolution Must be all those torpedoes we keep blasting at Libya that’s pushing us overdrawn! Health should be of absolute importance, we should be able to afford the NHS. It will be a sad day, when society turns against itself and its every man for himself. Some of my very wealthy (well, rich parents, they haven’t earned any of it!) buddies seem to think this is the right way forward... but that’s ok, because they have enough money to pay for procedures. They honestly could not give a flying **** about the rest of the masses, all they want is to pay minimum tax. I remind them, that if they crash their sports cars, a private health system will not be able to save them, only the NHS is capable of that. I’d love to see Lansley be presented with a £0.5m bill after his daughter (just an example) broke her wrist riding a bike and had to be airlifted to hospital!... I’m sure he will feel just as 'liberated' as he is liberating the NHS! Andrew Lansley...Tosser! http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2011/mar/25/andrew-lansley-rap-mc-nxtgen

I will second that, lets form a consensus!

I thought that tosser Corp Whore said they had sold 16k season tickets? I reckon, if they continue to collapse, wither and die in every aspect of their scabby little club, we will end up taking larger crowds to AWAY days! They will be crashing into four figure gates next season (if they make it). Maybe Dubov can get his large men with revolvers to talk to the ref's before the game once he has siezed control of the laundry machine

is everyone enjoying the half term roads? ****ing fantastic, made a 50minute saving - EACH WAY - everyday this week. Even got a couple of open miles on the country roads, which never happens when 1000's of 4x4's with one kid each are jamming up the economic producers of this country. bloody lazy arse mothers with there nation of ever obese children, strapped into the 5.0L Diesel with a sugary drink and a nintendo DS - I LOSE 16.5 DAYS each year in school run traffic, more than a two week ****ing vacation! I hope all these slummy mummies understand the kind of SACRAFICES working people have to make so that they can slug around in chelsea tractors, spending the day playing in the park or going shopping. Its not just bucket loads of tax we earn to support you, its everyday of our lives!

indeed! what about criminals (of any race/religion) dressing up in burkas/hijabs for the use of say - a bank robbery? Motorbike helmets are to be taken off at petrol stations (well should be!) banks etc, hoodies are banned from shopping centres due to theft and the hiding of the face. What is there to stop a man of slim build about 5'8 tall whacking one on to commit a crime? Sorry, thats discrimination under the new EU ruling 'shelias wheels'... What is there to stop a male or female person of slim build about 5'8 tall whacking one on to commit a crime? Potentially, it would make a stunning disguise in our tolerant society which accepts peoples right to wear this type of kit. People get very uncomfortable seeing people in balaclavas and skiing masks, but the burqa would be alright patiently queing up in a post office, before getting to the counter and making the heist. Assuming the heist was successful, identification would be impossible, cctv would be useless, evidence would be nil. you could even have some getaway/disuise clothes on underneath! Is this a problem, or could it become a problem? I would feel very uncomfortable and unsafe if I were to get on a train or a bus that had somebody wearing a head to toe burka, after the hostilities caused by 7/7, its most likely I would get straight back off. Mind you, im not sure if I would react differently if someone was wearing a giant gorilla costume, or full set of bike leathers and a dark visored helmet. As silly as it sounds, I would feel safer sat in a carridge with someone dressed head to toe in a giant gorilla costume, than one of the hardcore 'afgan' style burgas (only just though!). Is that social conditioning? The great train robbery MKII - but this time, nobody gets seen! Purely hypothetical.

The man with the plan: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/roman.dubov?sk=info So reading some of the russian mafia stories, it sounds like these guys have been involved in alsorts of dodgy deal, murders, million dollar swindles and so on: http://www.rumafia.com/material.php?id=220 It looks like they have done a number of seriously corrupt deals merging small banks together to steal money from the Russian banking system. From that article, which I am taking at face value, a number of lives have been lost (and his father crippled), and a number of people have lost everything, and having to flee for safety of their lives... I suspect they may be trying to seek refuge in the UK ala Abramovich style before the Russian authorities forcably take the stolen millions back. I wonder if 'convicted in absentia' Daddy Gadymack is anything to do with them, this kind of top governmental big money laundering is right up his street - although he sells the guns for the mafias activity rather than getting blasted by them. General Motors corporation suspect these guys have links to the Russian mafia, so suspicious in fact they refused to go anywhere near them. They got duped in the end, through a smoke screen, and Spyker took control with the crooks hiding in the background. I wonder if the FL will get conned as well? They got conned by Gaddy, the good DR, Ali and Baloo, so could it happen again? Should we make the relevant authorities aware of the skates most recent situation, or do we sit back and laugh that dangerous criminals are about to, once again, sieze the skates black hole? What on earth doe the FA's former 'Head of Integrity' think of the deal he is putting together? Did Cottager smash his moral compass in the Kitson fiasco, or did AA and TCWTB hypnotize him into the traditions of shambolic behaviour during the CVA? Either way, if he really is a man of integrity, and not simply a very good PR magician, how does he sleep at night knowing what he is getting involved in? Does he worry for the safety of himself or his family? Has he already been threatened by the various frightening methods displayed in the Russian mafia link? Four big blokes walking into my office brandishing revolvers (as in the article) would certainly make me question my loyalty to the skates, and I would gladly sign any contract they wish with blood, as long as it meant I got out alive. Is this what is going on down at Fratton? In fact, when was the last time Limpitt publically spoke? They may have failed dismally with the best team in the league, but they are certainly raising their criminality game 'to a level you couldnt quite believe' , these new boys might be a bit tasty even for the (SOCA) Serious Organised Crime Agency - who were quoted on SkySports stating 'they can neither confirm nor deny any investigations into skate fc (ie - their looking). Who the **** is writing this script? It is becoming literary genius. It should be written into a novel - once the AFC skates are settled @ Moneyfields of course. Staggering.

Could have sworn I was stood next to Charlie Sheen at Leyton on saturday, the resemblence was uncanny. Unless it was him, as he like winning and we are also good at winning! Its all a money making venture IMO

Profound. Banned in France today: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/france-wakes-up-to-a-burka-ban-as-sarkozy-unveils-a-new-era-2266054.html Face painting, fancy dress costumes and novelty face pieces (nose, moustache etc) are all still OK, so they should be able to protect their modesty in our terrible western world!

No... Its time to hand over the keys, all licenses consfiscated at 60 years old, you are a danger to yourself.

This article on the same story agrees with you. It also suggests a 13yr old girl was groomed, murdered, turned into mince meat and sold as kebabs in 2003. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1374443/More-60-teenage-girls-groomed-sex-gangs-men-Blackpool.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

This article would counter Supermikeys claim and supports Crab Lungs mates view: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8240202/Cover-up-claims-over-Asian-sex-gangs.html Here is a reasonably balanced article for you: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8248347/Are-white-girls-really-easy-meat.html My brother currently lives in Harrogate which is in this region, he reckons it is an issue. He also made a point of the conduct of the girls, and how with better education, they may be able to avoid falling for the traps. Its like 'dont take sweets from strangers' but the game has got a bit more serious now. Not much talk of this happening to the south, are we more clued up?

That is the way I was looking at it, the debt could be converted into equity in a period of 5ish years. 14m of debt sounds like the takeover price. The Liebherrs will be repaid as and when possible, or, if as Markus's wishes, to be written off one day. I heard this time last year that a £50m trust fund was put in place when ML took over, no idea if there was any substance to it, but it would make a nice 5year 'to the prem' style budget! Well, you would be paying tax on your profits and so on! One thing we can be sure on, NC knows his finance, I take great confidence in that! Dont be ridiculous, since gadymack kicked them out of thier offices they conduct all of there financial accounting on the white board in the changing rooms. 'sorry my hmrc, the cleaner keeps wiping the figures off'

Why did Bradley Wright Phillips get a standing ovation FFS?
holepuncture replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
I think NC is a good thing for our club, and whilst no doubt a hard businessman, hes building a future for not only our club, but his family too. He has done some great things so far. But I did not sing his name, and I doubt I will. And for good reason. I refer you to the skates last season: "theres only one Peter Storrie" "You can stick your ****in Arabs up your arse" ! -

i did the swing lowe/17yr old protests. the royal wedding is gonna be interesting; protesters, tourists and terrorists all in the mix. i sincerely hope the protesters make their voices heard... in the deep recession, watching this overtly wealthy family splashing all the tax revenue on a fancy wedding and a honeymoon = is utterly disgusting (yes i know they create wealth from tourism, but i still find it shamefull blowing our millions on a booze up) i guess anyone who protested the tuition stitch up, and/or the tory cuts protests should be out to cause utter mayhem, as a royal wedding really is 'icing on the cake' in taking the utter **** out of people trying to get by in the UK. a little tempted actually, pop up to town for a laugh, watch society beating itself up, have a beer, get beaten up by the firm (police)... or not?!?

Dyer and BWP - after the skate bar robbery. McGoldrick - didnt like the look of his face, or the way he walked, or the way he drank his coffee. Burley - always sounded hammered.
-
Interesting spot GM - not sure what you mean about the boardroom though! "Michael Wilde is Chairman of Wildcard Films and has a diverse range of business interests, including Chairman of Merlion Housing, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of affordable homes." I wonder what he is bringing to the table as Chairman and Executive producer of these budget films?
