Mike Hunt? I think it's been done before!!!!!!!

One word only! RESPECT!

I have read EVERY post today and I can't believe how so many of 'little faith' can justify FOUR POINTS from SIX is a catastrophe of such proportions. You can see by my post name that since January 1957 I have been a Saint. I have seen sheer brilliance, lots of mediocrity and in the last few years, absolute c-rap! I'll take the six points anytime. Realistically we have a very slim chance of making the play-offs but 'hoof ball and head tennis' will not be sufficient to succeed in our task. Perhaps AP just didn't want to play on the deck last night. We got a point, a clean sheet and lifted one more place up the table. I'm not complaining. Nor should you! COYR

My 'Baggies' mate says 'Don't touch him with a barge pole. Too lazy to catch a cold!Always injured and 'whinges' like hell all the time.

Right! Someone else have a go. I've just voted 20 times. I suppose I'm biased as I'll be there tomorrow to see the Saints win 3 - 0. COYR

Could you please insert 'semi-literate' before sluts?

All I can add to this post is 'Ain't I glad we didn't go after Earnshaw. Did you see his penalty miss on TV last night? What a waste of space! PS A Cov City neighbour says Cov will be the losers if Eliot goes anywhere. Why Coleman has 'shut him down' the fans have no idea.

The Club could possibly sue for Breach of Contract and endeavour to have some of his assets 'sequestered'. However, (isn't there always an however?) it would depend on what the players wages are. £5000 not much hope. But £35,000? They'd get their money back by not having to pay them. As I said earlier. I'd like to see his contract as it would certainly contain his terms and conditions of employment AND reference to both the Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures. PS. I still wouldn't want him at St Marys

Sorry Alps but my experience in teaching shows a quite different picture. If a Teacher is found Guilty of a drivving offence this in most cases is a 'Breach of Contract' insofar as most of us were required by our contracts to be 'Peripatetic' (Obliged to travel as the Employer sees fit - within the parameters of our Professional Qualifications of course) Should we becaught shop lifting or arrested for 'over indulgence' we could be bringing our School or College into disrepute. Summay offence. In MK's case Wigan are perfectly within their rights to sack him as he is 'Frustrating the Contract' to which he signed ie 'To play football' Until I see his contract I shall reserve judgement on his dismissal. Suffice to say I, as a very long suffering Saint, wouldn't welcome him to Saint Marys whatever he says about being rehabilitated. Punching a young girl in the face so hard that she was knocked to the ground just because he felt 'rejection' is an arrogant and pathetic response. It's also very difficult to quantify 'Gross Misconduct'. eg Summary Dismissal for consuming Alcohol on the Premises is the norm in may occupations but in a Brewery up until the more recent past employees were given a couple of pints a day which MUST BE CONSUMED ON TH PREMISES. Funny old thing this Industrial Relations Law. I taught it for 25 Years.

As my Grandson said 'We gobbled up M(a)K Don(ald)s' COYR

Gotta be very careful what I say here as 19C might 'misread' it. My seven years old grandson and I were reading the results last Saturday and when he got to MK Dons he said 'Mc Donalds'. Needless to say I thought it really funny. MK Dons could be an abbreiviation of McDonalds. When we had a word immediately after he said 'Grandad. Saints will gobble them up'. Hurrah for seven year olds! COYR

1. Locate the photo 2. Right Click 3. Copy to-> Bob's yer Uncle.

We were rubbish! Only 4 - 1. Pardew out! (Only joking!) I think it's just a matter of time before this result will boost the confidence of the players. They played like winners today. WELL DONE - especially the Fans. You were really on-song. COYR

I had one of these a while back. I called her Hot Cold and Tepid!

Head-tennis hoofers? That seems to be the trend in this Division. I agree with quite a lot of the above but for me the game was spoilt by an incompetent set of officials. Marks out of 10. Ref 2. Lino 1. 2. Lino 2. 2. terrible decisions all over the place. Ball goes out from B'rord player Lino flags for them to have the throw. Since when is it an offence to stand in front of the thrower? Nice to see that 'Alpine' was at the match. I have serious doubts as to his residence however. When travelling down the M42 yesterday morning with my Nipper and grandsons I saw a huge coach, on the side of which read, ALPINE Travel NORTH WALES. In this part of the world we call the 'Brecon Beacons' the 'ALPS'. I think you should confess Alps!

Swindon 1 v Saints 0 Post-Match Reaction

As I said after the Millwall fiasco. 'Head Tennis' does not win games. Where was the 'on the floor' passing last night? AP really does have a very serious problem here. I'm not looking forward to yet another 'who can kick it the highest' match against Brentford on Saturday. Either try and play to feet or don't. Hoofing the ball forward achieves nothing. Watch some of the Prem teams and see how often 'head tennis' prevails. Come on AP. wake up and smell the coffee. He has to get this through to the inept shower that currently wear a Saints shirt. -
Fellow Saints. Can I make the final comment on this issue? Firstly. My Grandson DID NOT SHOUT SKATE at the Lady, He said It, too did I. Read my original post and you will see 'He said Skate'. Nothing more nothing less. The rest of the brief conversation was between the three of us. End of. Had I realised such an innocent post would lead to such furore I would not have sent it.

Just for the record 19C I am only offended by people I respect. It was perfectly alright for the 'Pompey lass' to say 'Hello Scummer'. Perhaps you should study obfuscation, it will become clearer for you then? My grandsons were in 'uniform' or as Pilchards calls it 'Fancy dress'.

We live just up the Road in Wellington so it's right on the doorstep. There's far too much to see in one day so a 'Family Season Ticket' will let you visit any of the sites at any time. It's well worth a visit. There's something for everyone and it's an 'eye-opener' for city folk who know nothing of 'fundamental industrial work' except what they read in books. I highly reccommend it to anyone. Incidentally. I think we are on the same wavelength with regard to 'posts'. Bill

Just returned (half an hour ago) from a visit to the Ironbridge (built in 1779 when Saints were at their zenith!)with my Grandsons. Whilst walking back across I heard a conversation going on with four people (two men two women) One of the women said "Oh! No. I'm a Pompey girl. He supports Southampton" My eight year old heard this and said "SKATE!" The other said "Come on you reds!" Needless to say the 'Saint' and I laughed our socks off. We had a quick chat. He'll be at St Marys for the 22nd. It's the strangest place I've met another Saint although Pilchards and family sat in the row in front of us (my family) in Seaworld in Florida some time ago!

I clearly remember a 'banner' at the Dell that read 'SIANTS ARE GIANTS' is this the period you mean?

Why shouldn't MLT have an autobigraphy? Jordan has three and never read or written a word of them! I'll be having a look at Matt's.

Has the spirit of Southampton returned once more?
hasper57saint replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
It never really left. Some of us kept the faith and were rewarded by a miracle. We now have to give our utmost support to ML,AP and the lads. After watching the Darlington v Leeds crap (am I allowed that Mods?) last night we will climb this league pretty fast. COYR's -
From all this speculation and 'joy' methinks the 'Cobblers' will be well and truly 'studded' by 2100 tonight. COYRs

I would have thought you needed your sound card 'rectum-fied' if it sounds like a chicken farting? (Although I've never heard a chicken fart to be honest)
