    Sadio Mane

Not sure how the UKBA would feel about the club listing him as a player before they had granted his application. Given he will fit the criteria for a WP and Koeman was hopeful of him playing Saturday I'd be surprised if there was a hitch on this deal.

Was his profile actually ever there?

    Adidas

I tried them on and it's 1 or 2 sizes up on last years depending on how big your beer belly is.

Good news, would have been happy with anyone after this years debacle.
  6. Glasgow. Dont return to type or you'll be getting independence before Thursday.
  7. We've marched on.
  8. Good to see the Sunderland jinx may be Pochettino's and not ours.
  9. Only got to see the second half. We looked great! Happy with that.
  10. Where's your permit gone, where's your permit gone. [repeat until granted]
  11. Took my nipper to a reserve game about that age. He lasted 20 minutes. You've probably got the best policy with an iphone / sweets. Maybe set a few tasks like counting the floodlights / players or guessing what will happen next. First proper game I took the lad to was promotion game against Coventry which was just before his 5th birthday. He has been disappointed by the lacks of goals and pitch invasion ever game since.
  12. One for the Penny fans.
  13. I am happy with our owner, and most of our board. Ralph is just pure cringe.
  14. Once he has filtered out all the waffle and hot air it will probably consume one tweet.
  15. Frannie would have made twice as much burning down a cancer hospice judging by the Manchester Dogs home fundraising which hit £200k in one night. Sad that people are only motivated to give by immediate tragedy. Herculian effort by Frannie, I hope his funds get an amazing final push.
  16. Agree in principle, she was elected a page before 1979. Anyway, back to topic please.
  17. I repeat, I'd be very surprised if this was the case...
  18. I agree the hoof didn't cause us problems defensively, but it did negate our tactic of turning over the ball high up the pitch and attacking from these positons. We didn't beat Stoke or West Ham in his time with us for example.
  19. It is massive revisionist theory to play down Pochettino's influence on us. Last season he got us fitter and more organised than any Saints team in history, even eclipsing the Strachan era in both regards. For the 18 months he was here we bullied teams and surprised them, this became less effective against teams that bypassed our press with a hoof and we didn't seem to be able to adapt. It wasn't so much that we had no plan B, I always had the feeling that if we didn't score first then it was game over as we didn't create enough chances against teams who were not chasing the game. What I like about Koeman is that we are more direct. We get the ball forward quicker and we seek to wear the opposition down through relentless attacking vs relentless pressing. Time will tell which is the best system, but the signs from sections of the Liverpool, Millwall and West Ham games are very positive for RK.
  20. Clearly a top bloke and an important component of the team that got us back to the Prem. Was decent backup last season despite what the haters say.
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RGULTPoCYo Replace with his name, simples.
  22. From a Belgian colleague when asked about him: ”he is brilliant, don't understand what he is doing with Southampton”
  23. I have it on good authority that Newport will pay 4% over the next 5 years.

  25. Judgement Day, on the whole very pleased with how it panned out. Got good prices for Shaw, Lallana, Lovren and shot of Osvaldo. Lambert fair value and Chambers I believe had a clause allowing his move. Trimmed a fair few of old guard off the wage bill in Guly, Sharp, Barnard, Hoiveld and Johno Quick. Pelle, Bertrand, Forster and Tadic have looked useful. Long jury is out but should improve. Excited about Altoweld (can't be arsed to spell it), Gardos and Mane. Disappointed by letting Gaston go, but can understand the logic once I have taken the emotion out of it. Keeping Schneiderlin, JRod, Boruc and Cork big pluses. I'd expect to see a few fringe players such as Gazzaniga and Mayuka go on FL loan.
