  1. That 3 points we took off Liverpool at Anfield is starting to look very costly for the Skates.
  2. Oh, tonight's episode of the Luke Shaw saga on Twitter is that United fans are spreading the rumour he has died. Classy.
  3. That was a few months back.
  4. Managed Liverpool and Fulham this year. Perhaps I should go more given the effect I seem to have.

Fine I'll open it back up.
  6. Have to say that the whole club media team have been fantastic this year. The quality, range and amount of content has been superb.
  7. Probably our best improvement this year is the way we have put away the lower and mid-table teams. Last year we nicked more points against the top 4, something we can work on again.
  8. UJ, let's try an experiment. We can call in 'UJ Mods'. Send me a PM with what you want me to do each time. Let's see how it goes. 4 people out of the 542 who have read this thread. If the forum is so bad why did you come back for a second round?
  9. ill advised and trying to be more clever than he is - yes Racist - no If he does get the sack I am quite sure another network will pick up the show / format and he'll get paid even more.
  10. Would be amazed if this is the case.
  11. Get a room you two.
  12. This was my view back in February and I stand by it. However the general concensus from the majority of posters on this thread is that it is the repetitive nature and sheer frequency of posts from certain posters, not what they say is the issue. Noted.
  13. There are better sticks to beat the Skates with than this TBF Pompeys12thMan - #ride2bury & #fightforjack Our bike ride was originally planned to raise money to buy community shares in PCFC as part of the final push for shares before the share issue ended at the end of April. However we were made aware of a young lad called Jack Robinson and decided we wanted to help this young boy too. Jack and his identical twin brother Liam were born on the 7th June 2009. On 24th January 2014 Jack was diagnosed with a brain tumour. They operated on the tumour, but could not fully remove it. Unfortunately after a brave fight Jack passed away just after midnight on April 1st. In Jacks memory, 50% of the total we raise will be split 3 ways between Naomi House and the ward at Southampton General hospital that both helped care for Jack as well as a donation to Brain Tumour research. The other 50% will be used to buy community shares in PCFC to be held by Pompeys12thMan alongside the 20 that have already been purchased which was always the original aim of the 300 mile/3 day cycle challenge. We originally set ourselves what we considered to be a modest target of £10,000. With 3 weeks still to go the ride, we smashed that so set ourselves a new target of £20,000. With your help and support we can achieve this fantastic amount.
  14. Half a well done for those plucky cyclists.
  15. Yes and 4 years ago. Was a proposed two year deal.
  16. You'll likely be getting a new corrected tax code then.
  17. My company was offered sponsorship at a then Premier League club for circa £400k per year.
  18. Perving over ex-girlfriends is a sign of midlife crisis?
  19. If you earn over £116k or they believe you will this year, your personal tax allowance disappears. Add the tax you owe that possibly explains it.
  20. Given you have registered on this forum simply to get tickets having never been to a game I am not surprised by the lack of help offered!
  21. What is the sudden vogue for thread titles in capitals?
  22. Interesting that the media seem to not get the principle of Capital Expenditure. Our Training Ground is an asset and as such we won't pay it off (via a depreciation charge) in respect of our accounts for a number of years.
  23. The thing that he did say that was spot on was that no one person was bigger than the club with its 130 year history. My initial view on Cortese going was that it was a short tern problem but would ultimately prove the right move in the medium to long term. Never has the Kissenger quote on power been more apt. We (and I include myself) tolerated Cortese's diabolical treatment of suppliers, the press and the Pravda style irradiation of our history because he ultimately delivered on the pitch by signing the Liebherr cheques to good effect. I feel the same about MP. I would really like him to stay and commit to us. If he is unable to, **** happens, we might lose the odd player but life goes on. Out of adversity this club has generally always come good. Out of near liquidation came the Liebherr's, out of the defensive shambles of early 12/13 came Luke Shaw and after the meltdown over Adkins came MP. Change isn't always bad. One thing I can guarantee. In 20 years time none of the players, staff or owners will be still here, but us fans will be whatever
  24. Decent read. Obviously getting it out there about overspend and cash situation with the implication being Cortese had left a problem behind.
