  1. Daily Mail conjecture or Les Reed direct quote? Tough call he may go, but not next week.
  2. Not just us either http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2625100/Tony-Pulis-refuses-rule-Crystal-Palace-exit-admits-talks-taking-club-forward-successful-far.html
  3. Approximately 0%
  4. I spoke to a senior player at the awards night and that was his view of what would happen. Albeit his words were "stronger squad".
  5. He hasn't been on the site for 3 days tbf.
  6. By avoiding the questions he is. He could have very easily put this to bed at his press conference or indeed the awards dinner.
  7. Like any business. You can have rapid growth for 5 years, consolidate, and then go again. The danger would be that we sell too many and end up in a post 2003 terminal slide. What would also be criminal is to bet the farm on going for a top 4 spot and end up where we were in 2009. There is a middle ground, keep the current core squad and manager, sell Gaston & Osvaldo and reinvest some of that back in. Sprinkle in a few new scholars coming through and aim to maintain current league position whilst targeting the cups.
  8. It's the joy of supporting a football club. Owners, players, managers and ticket surcharges come and go but the fans remain.
  9. And for the record, and whether he stays or goes. This is the 3rd time MP has dicked around with threatening to go. At some point we might just be better to move on and rebuild rather that having this s*** every time a top job comes up.
  10. I think everyone should consign themselves to the fact MP, Shaw, Lallana, Morgan and Lovren are all off. Therefore any off them that are still left here next season will feel like a bonus.
  11. Why ask other fans when you haven't done a great deal yourselves? Get your fans to start with not filling the stadium and not buying any merchandise and then I'll consider signing.
  12. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/brendan-rodgers-must-spend-wisely-as-liverpools-nearly-men-seek-to-build-on-revival-9348434.html £25m would appear to be the price that would test us. Can't see Liverpool going to that.
  13. Cortese = Tyrion Lannister Dwarf accused of administering poison to disrupt the establishment.
  14. Interesting to see him tweeting lots of pictures today wearing a current Saints FC training top.
  15. Barry, take the night off.
  16. Barry, you are being both boring and tedious. Make your point and stop winding everyone up.
  17. Ethiad Airlines proves this! To answer the OP's point. 1) KL has no connection withe Liebherr business, as do Marcus. 2) Most Shirt deals are B2C companies, not B2B - fridges aside.
  18. Quite, please stay on topic.
  19. To anyone truly worried about one man leaving a sustainable club that has improved its league position every time in the last five years, please read the Adkins meltdown thread.
  20. Was he? Remember Keane being a **** but not Giggs.
  21. Not enough white for me. Stripes not a must for me but we are red and white.
  22. Agreed. But in the industry they are in is you have products that are hot you need to get a shift on before they become outdated. We don't know what the deal is. Perhaps we have got an equity stake, share of sales or revenue increase payments rather than cold hard cash. Still, financial stability doesn't appear to be our key criteria when drawing up our canvass list. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/formulaone/f1news/10081762/Lotus-F1s-56m-loss-is-motorsports-biggest.html
  23. Kindly get back on topic and leave Northern Irish politics to The Lounge.
  24. Laughable reaction. I would imagine that they were prepared to pay the most so got the gig. Local company who look to have some pretty decent products run by Saints fans. At least we have a sponsor signed and over the line, not like last years debacle.
